Skill Book Questions

I have an item named "Northern Sky" with a filled in Circle in front of the words Northern Sky. The Item appears to be a scroll that when exchanged at the proper NPC will give me a skill book. However for the life of me I cannot find the NPC with whom I am supposed to exchange the item. The Item says to exchange it with the "Seeker Sage" but I am unaware of any NPC named that, or where they might be located if they do exist.

Also the item says that it requires Aware of the Myriad. Does that mean I need to be Aware of the Myriad to exchange the item for a skill book, or does it mean I need to be Aware of the Myriad in order to use the skill book that I get from the item?

    Is the appearance of the item a book? If so, it looks like you've got yourself a Sage Northern Sky Sword skill book. You need to be level 89+ and need to have chosen the Sage cultivation path in order to use it. You would take it to a Seeker skill trainer in order to upgrade your Northern Sky Sword skill to level 11: Sage.

    Yeah, that's a skillbook. The Molemen books look different to other classes for some molish reason.

    Technically the item says that it will give me a skillbook. For reference sake here is a screen shot of the item so that we have the ability to understand each other more readily...

    Oh and for the record I know this isn't a Seeker Skillbook itself, because I already have one of those >.>

    curious. seems useful, in that i know a level-11 stance won't be triggered if the corresponding attack skill isn't also level-11 and vice versa, so being able to get both books at once does make sense. where did you get this item, pray tell?

    i'm not sure what the "seeker sage" might be, but i'd assume that means the sage seeker skill trainer.

    that book will give yout the 2 skillbooks when u go to the Sage Seeker trainer in Lothranis (usually called heaven), for now looks like it will be in your inventory for a long time because you cannot enter Lothranis until 89+ when u reach Aware of Myriad(sage) or Aware of Discord(demon)

    As for where I got the item, I honestly have no clue. I got the item sometime prior to having taken a few months off of the game. As such I honestly cannot remember where I got the item from. But I have to agree that the item does seem useful in that it gives me both skill books simultaneously. At the moment I have Northern Sky Waltz at level 10. I suppose I now need to get Staggering Strike to Level 10 as well. Which will take me a while.

    Well, you only need it at level 10 when you want to level it to 11, which you'd need to be at least level 89 to do anyway.
