your level 8, you should start over really fast and pick the less laggiest and closest server to your location for better gameplay in the future, do it now ur only level 8 and i suggest making a blademaster class, its the most useful class in this game. PVE,pvp,TW,AOE PVE ,SOLO, does everything

If I were you I'd simply watch in-game the yellow world chat messages from factions that openly recruit.

it says level is too low.

If by CT you mean Connecticut, USA, you should probably join either Harshlands if you like PVP or the PVE server Dreamweaver as far as lag and better event times go.

As for world chat, the recruiters openly recruit in world chat, you can click their names in the chat and private message them. You don't need to world chat yourself.

There is nothing wrong in me to teaching him the correct behavior on a forum. Since he is a new player, he may not be aware of the rules. I was just letting him know what to do the next time he needs to post something twice in a row.

hi mike,i see you're from archosaur server.
maybe we could make friends :)
and there are many noob(uhh newb to be exact) guilds around starter cities that may want to get you in.
and dont take pwi wrong if you see less populated starter cities.
many has quitted because of this.
although its easy to get to 20 and teleport to archosaur(woot, mega laggy city)
but you may like to leave your guild as soon as you leveled higher

While I appreciated what you are going for. With only 3 posts on the account you are logging in with you word carries little weight. Try signing on with your main if it isn't banned.

He is a player new to the forums. It should be the job of everyone who has been here a long time to help the newer player, even if it means "teaching" him some of the common rules of conduct. My message did not harm him in any way. I don't see why it's you place to get butt hurt over it. So I told him that instead of posting twice, he can use the edit button next time. Wow, big deal. Get over it.

Ohh so close, but no, delete the underlined, and that's more like what you told him. The "can" part of it completely changes the attitude as if you're being helpful about it instead of their parent, which obviously was not the case. Nice try though.

Maybe in your case it would have been better to just answer the guy's question or simply find somewhere else to post? Hey look, there's an option. b:cute

@OP: Can I just say that the Archosaur server may not quite be right for you? :-/

I played on the Arch server for a month or two recently, and the best faction I found still a bunch of top officers abusing powerleveling tactics (and when I say abuse, I mean deliberately exploiting game glitches for exp). I was told by its director flat-out that "70-80% of the server uses [that glitch]."

Try an older server like Heaven's Tear or Sanctuary - prices are lower for most things and there's less of an emphasis on powerleveling to the point where you can't enjoy the game anymore.

Like that doesn't happen on our server... We all know that all the 105's popping up got there suddenly by lvling in a fair way (that was sarcasm)... b:surrender

Annyway if you like a good populated server try Heaven's Tear, Sanctuary or Dreamweaver... Archosaur and such aren't bad or annything but the population just isn't as much as these older ones... If you'd like to be able to randomly kill other ppl (or be killed) you can considder a PK server like Lost City or Harshland...

Annyway hope you'll enjoy playing Perfect World... Although the economie is pretty messed up so you realy have to work hard after lvl 60/70 for your stuff unless you're planning to use the Cash Shop... b:cute

You weren't there with me and Suki on Arch server, Yuna. :P Trust me when I say it's at least ten times worse than it is on HT. At least 90% of the people I met on Arch were one or more of the following:

    1. Powerlevelers / head buyers / goon glitchers
    2. People who bought r8 straight from the CS and then bragged about it
    3. People who were massively impatient (on both my and suki's FB59 on that server, our FB runners tried to insist that we do not dig the "token" mines until after all bosses are dead)
    4. People who spoke only spanish and made precisely zero effort to learn english so that they could communicate with their squads, yet insisted on joining random BH runs anyway
    5. Other general n00bishness (e.g. "Waaaaahh I need BP to tank this boss QQQQQQQ")

I'm not even lying when I say that at least 40% of the people who tried to join BH squads fell under Category #4. It got so bad that Suki and I had to insist on putting the squads together ourselves and only allowing people into it that we could actually communicate with (as communication is kinda, y'know, required for complex instance runs). The end result is that we met maybe five or six competent people who became our "usual suspects" for BH51. Once we'd met those few people, there were no more "randoms." I'm kinda glad we left, actually, it would've been hell on wheels trying to find a competent squad for BH69. -___-

Basically, take HT and remove 90% of the competent people, keeping in the others, and then maybe knock the gross population down another 40%, and you have Arch.

Just because you don't, doesn't mean that nobody does. Personally, I enjoy constructive criticism. It's helpful and useful.

And aren't you being even more of a "hall monitor" or "parent" for correcting him about correcting other people and giving orders to him? Seriously, the hypocrisy there is pretty amazing. b:chuckle

I'm sure if you twist something to fit an agenda (yours) you can find hypocrisy in just about anything. However, it wasn't helpful as it didn't even address the OP's question at all. That wasn't constructive as it had nothing to do with the topic.

Btw, by your logic strange, pedantic and infantile going-nowhere logic (much like the poster you're defending), you're trying to correct me for correcting him on correcting OP. Therefore, you're a hypocrite. Wonderful logic isn't it. b:cute

You can help someone in more ways than by simply addressing their original question, you know.

Besides, the question had already been answered at that point, what would the point have been in addressing the OP's question?

Uh... no, I'm not correcting you. There's a difference between correcting someone and pointing out their hypocrisy.

For someone harping on "logic", your reply isn't particularly logical.

I would say start in Sanctuary or Heavens Tears (those were the first places I joined when I was new long ago in a galaxy far far....whoops wrong genre) And if you are willing to deal with PKing join Lost City (my fave area before I retired 2 years ago) or Harshlands. And if you wanna start with a brand spanking new start...Lothranisb:victory
