Quick genie skill Q

I have a 72/100 genie with the following skills:
Absolute domain
Cloud eruption
Tree of protection
Extreme poison
Holy path
and....Fortify

Q is, should I restate my genie's affinity to get Expel instead of Fortify or not? I can't have both as skill capacity and affinity points can't handle both.
P.S: I don't do TW nor PK, just light dueling every once and a while and the pk in cube. I kinda picked Fortify over Expel to be able to evade stuns from BMs and Sins and stunners in delta (along with immune to movement debuffs pills of course).
Also, does expel get cast on you or the person you are targeting in a pvp situation where pvp protection settings are turned on, aka you heal yourself while targeting others.

So whatcha think?

I guess it depends on what you prefer, being immune to stuns for 3 seconds? (not sure on the duration) or immune to physical dmg for 9 seconds + you can also cast purify just before you use expel and you can still cast skills and be immune for 9 seconds to phys dmg which is quite nice.

Forgot to add that expel gets cast on the person you target

This is hard to decide x.x I mean with Expel I can't evade BM stun cuz it isn't a physical attack like headhunt for example but on the other hand Expel has longer duration and the seal can be removed even with a purify pot not to mention that I can be immune to the hits after the stun from the BM. Also I can't use Expel while being in BB like fortify x.x

For now I keep a 66/100 zeal for luring, I learnt Expel on it so I can switch (will prolly make it cube only genie lol), guess that's the best option.

Actually you can use expel while being in BB since it won't cancel a skill you're already doing. Same goes for other players, aslong as you use it on them after they've started their aoe, like on wiz or archer if it'd be needed which is why I love this skill since it's useful in a lot of ways and not only on yourself.

Thank you so much. But I noticed something, expel doesn't work while plume shell is on....is it a bug?

Expel works in any circumstance on yourself but the problem is it seals you (preventing you from casting), so only in the two circumstances should one expel themselves: 1) taking extensive physical damage, 2) while already engaged with a constant channeling spell (cleric BB, archer BOA, wiz DB, and so on) where one needs to nullify melee/physical damage for 6-9 seconds.

If you hit expel while you're casting purify, you won't get sealed. :B

Unfortunately, most of times when you have to use it in PVP, you're being stunlocked by a sin that can drop you in two seconds.

Expel ftw. Might wanna get rid of TOP as well, after bubble boss in Frost its never really been useful to me, never seen any other clerics use it either to be honest XD, usually when **** hit the fan they Guardian light, AD, Expel, or run like hell. Ocasionally if the target is stunnable (is that even a word? fail this thing has spell checker XD fail can't be bothered to download it, original ? remains XD) then they might throw out a seal or something else fancy.

They are both quite useful to be honest but seen as an assassin can just jump back into stealth maybe its best to use Expel and Purify then Plume shield so you can atleast pull back some genie energy before he comes for you again.

Sorry for the bad grammar in a bit of a rush. Have a nice day
