Money disappearing

Hello everyone! [=
I was playing a few hours today, at the beginning I had less then 100k (I had more yesterday), then suddenly, without doing anything, it got higher then 100k, and now, I haven't bought anything, haven't logged out, and it's 20k! How could it be? the only thing I did was get a few things in and out the bank, do quests, and kill monsters! I played with a friend, who's done just the same quests like I have, and everything's alright with him...
Do you have an idea what could have caused it?

    Did you go to an NPC, and sold or bought items from them? Did you bid on items in the Auction House? Did you repair your gear after the quests? Also, some quests at the begining require that you give NPC's money.

    Thanks for the answer, I haven't done any of the above... It's really strange, because since I was logged in, it couldn't be a hacker... Any more ideas will be most welcome...

    Did you level up new skills or upgrade old ones?

    Quests give you coin rewards most of the time, so that would explain it going up. As far as the coins going down, you either upgraded skills or speedclicked through the quest dialog and had to give up coins for the quest to continue. (quite a few quests do this to you).

    Thanks, that's the only probable option, yet I'm lvl 27, and it's really weird that I lost over 80k in one click...

    Little Daisy takes 3k coin I believe... OP's talking about 80k+

    Teleporting also costs coin, so if you teleport a lot, theres your answer.

    If it all happens when you're still logged in,
    i guess you have did something like repairing/teleporting

    I've also had items disappear, money, raps, clothes, all while logged on. Have heard of other people having this problem also.

    Real reasons:
    Quests can cost and award money.
    Items can be dropped even if you're not in PK.
    ( Blue Names
    99% chance to drop nothing
    1% chance to drop one item ) Source.
    Catshops can scam you. (Buy an item that claims it's 10k in name of catshop, in reality it was 100k)
    Players can scam you. (....in so many, many ways)
    Dropping/picking up all your coin in squad-bad idea. :D Splits your money between all squad members.
    Leaving an item on the ground too long before picking up will send it to a random squad member.
    Quests can take your money.
    Being rednamed/pinknamed will inevitably make you lose stuff.
    Uhm. Quests can seriously, seriously, take your money.
    You bought something you forgot about.
    You NPC'd something accidentally. (Your TT99 boots *cough*)

    Oooooor... There really secretly is a thieves class. That doesn't exist. Ninjas ftw.

    I had heard about a similar case recently... One guy complained he had lost 100k and was really mad for it. Another gave him the most probable reason, which was buying from Gen. Summer some replacement for his order, which costs... 100k (man, even the top warrior in Archo is greedy? Where's the world going to? *sighs, shrugs*).

    As for items, money or equips disappearing, I hope you guys did not give your personal login info to others... *Plays thunder and woman's scream SFX in the background*
