Well, many people wanted to unbind their gears in order to sell them to other player. And Instead of making Unbinding Charm I suggest that PWI install something called unbinding service feature on the site. Using this service, player can unbind their gear for the cost of 3 golds each depending on the gear or gears.

To begin unbinding the gear, make sure you have enough gold in your account, after that simply put the binded gears in your inventory and logged out. Then go to pwi site and choose the unbinding tab. After you are redirected to the unbinding page, there will be 3 drop box and a price box. Use the first 2 drop box to choose your character and sever. The use the last drop box to select which gears you want to unbinded (you can select up to 5 piece of gears). After that the price box will appear the total of gold needed to unbind the gears. Whenever you agree hit confirm.

Whenever you decide to log back on, the gears you wished to unbinded in your inventory with the word binding charm being replace with the phrase of word founded before it ever binded to your char. You will also found that the gold being use for the unbinding process had been deduced from your account.

    This is NOT a new suggestion. Been brought up before many times already. It will never happen.

    It never hurt to try though. Remember this is a service on the site not some unbinding charm. Therefore it can be coded and perhaps possible to create.

    is not the possibility whether it can be created, its the fact that items are bound for a reason, yes you cannot drop them in pvp but there also has to be a downside to it and being able not to trade it suits it well. Its your money and you decide if you want to invest it in a bound item. And plus you can always account stash it and use it on many different characters, so there is no reason to complain, all my gear is bound and i really dont care ill just save up and get r9 daggers opposed to nirvana.

    No, no, no. Having an unbind service would defeat the whole purpose of binding it in the first place. It's not just so that you can't drop it in PK, it also makes it so that if your account gets **** someone else can't steal your gear. If you wanna be able to trade it, don't bind it and carry Guardian scrolls/use safety lock if you want to PK. If you do bind it, deal with it.

    Just a thought....the reason why it will never happen, this whole unbinding charm/service thing....If you can bind something to keep it from being dropped in pk, if your account is compromised ect ect, is a good thing for players, naturally. Yes there is an account stash so the items can be resused by yourself for another character. But when you're done with the item? When you out level it? When you aren't going to make another LA character that needs those lvl80 aps bracers? You can't SELL IT TO ANYONE ELSE! I.E, money down the drain=encouragement to cash shop to make up for your losses. And the 3 gold you spend to unbind it, doesn't out weigh the Zen you would have to purchase to recoup your losses. Simple math. Think like a dirty politician, and you are near the ball park of GMs when it comes to money.

    Great idea, endorsed by players. But who cares? And people wonder why everyone is leaving to play Rift.....
