How the economy works?

Sorry for asking this but I have not been able to find a tutorial that properly explain how money works here. Mainly I want to know how many coins stack in a gold (or silver) and what kind of items have to be bought with real money!

I am a true casual player. Meaning I never plays more than 4 hours in a row and I only play 2 o 3 times in a month. Because of that I decided to play a game without subscriptions.

You can buy gold with your real money. $1 buys one gold, but I have no idea what that translates to in other real life currencies. One gold can be broken down to silver, and there are 100 silver in each gold. You can either use that gold to buy items from the boutique (also known as cash shop, which is easily accesible by hitting the O key), or you can sell that gold by clicking on the "Gold Trading" option at the auctioneer. You can also buy gold that way with in game coins, if you decide that you would rather avoid spending real money. One gold in game costs between 370,000 and 400,000 right now in the Sanctuary server. Also, I believe all items sold in the boutique can also be sold in the cat and cow shops that you see sitting around town, and you can only use in game coins to buy things from those shops (as far as I know). So, you don't actually have to spend real money to buy anything, but you will have to do a lot of farming.

Anyway, I hope this information helps. If I think of anything else, I'll post again, and if you have other questions I'll try to help as best as I can. Or someone else will. :oD

Right. If you buy it with real cash, it comes up as "zen" on the website, but it becomes gold when you transfer it into the server. Zen is in silver increments (100 zen = 1 gold)

Well basically... PWI lays out some sells and increase Gold. So expect Pack sale constantly. Packs also keep the second currency flowing known as "tokens." Think of tokens as "premium" money. Have fun :)
