Soooo, some guildies and myself are board, like, particle board, or maybe surf board, and we have been rolling on alts, and decided to maybe give Alpha a shot.

I did a little gooooooogling and found a few threads here on these forums, and elsewhere, and all of the threads are old. Like 2009 old. b:sweat So, I've come here, in search of more modern advice.

What I'm looking for: Squad build ideas, experiences, what skills each class will need, and so-on.

What I'm NOT looking for: Idiocy, being told to buy FCC, trolling, being told to search, IDIOTS WHO CANNOT READ. Basically, if you fall into this group, www.crayola.com calls to you.

From my understanding, Alpha is for 40-55, and from guides of old (cue Gandolf the Gray), requires 2 barbs, 2 Wizzies, and 2 Clerics. Now, here is where I've got questions. Can it be done with a Barb, Seeker, Psy, Wiz, Cleric, and Mystic, for example, or is the old setup the best?

Are there any specific genie skills for Barb/Seeker that are necessary, Wiz/Psy, Cleric/Mystic?

And last, are HP charms necessary for everyone, or just mana charms for the Wiz/Psy/healers?

Any positive advice is welcome... Just looking for something different to do in the lower levels instead of questing, and buying FCC is not gonna happen. >_>

    Gl finding advice as very few people have even tried RB Alpha much less figured out ways to win.

    For Alpha's level range, nobody is going to have 59 skills, which takes away much of the "standard" rebirth strategy. Since there will be no BB, I'd recommend that -EVERYONE- have a HP charm.

    Yep, I think it's why two clerics are recommended...

    Looking for a challenge, which is why I'm trying to put a party together to do this. b:chuckle

    Going to try Beta as well. Someone in Kakumau (<3 Yudai) said Beta is hard, so, another challenge. XD Then, Barb and cleric will be Gamma bishes until they're in Delta range, then... Probably be Delta Bishes as well...

    Well, one thing that has changed since those old threads is that mystics have been introduced, so you can now use both Healing Herb and Vital Herb (simultaneously even) starting at level 49, which is well within Rebirth Alpha range. That ought to help make up for no BB, but Alpha will probably remain the hardest Rebirth instance.

    Anyways, if you do come up with something good, please help update the Rebirth Alpha entry afterwards. Currently it just has a couple of links to some of the older threads with information on it.

    Hmm, not a bad idea.

    Currently working on getting my barb to level 40 right now...

    I'll post up in the Sanctuary forum looking for more people. Just have myself and a seeker I think...

    hahahaha, sorry had to post - that made me laugh....

    And I think you will need to develop a new guide for the new generation. Wish you were on HL, I'd love to do some RB's on my alts.....

    Hehe, I originally had it in big red underline weird font, but it broke something with CSS and put text over text, so I removed the styles. :P

    Yeah, trying to put something together right now... Recruiting people and leveling my barb to get there right now...
