I think G15 Lunar Nirvana set (or possibly mixed with TT99 HA pieces) is the best option behind Rank 9.

Rank 8 is nice, the biggest letdown being the belt because its a pdef belt that refines for more physical defense, something Barbs have plenty of. Most rank pieces focus on accenting the attriubutes a class is already good at. For instance, a barb excells at pdef, vit, and hp. Most the adds on rank gear are pdef, vit and hp. It doesn't really fill in the things you're missing, like magic defense.

Lunar has about a 33% base defense boost over TT. This becomes even more when buffed, but hurts more than TT when debuffed. A G15 Lunar set will have more magic defense than a rank 9 set, too. Rank 9 is still better because of the set bonuses, G16 refine rate, and guaranteed 4 sockets.

You may look into 2 pieces of TT99 or TT Nirvana G15 for another few attacks levels.

And of course, best neck is cube magic necklace. Best Belt is probably Warsong (magic) or Rank 9.

I think G15 Lunar Nirvana set...

This is what Fuzzy would say.

The cascade glow set is an excellent choice if R9 isn't what you want to set your sights on. It does take quite awhile to farm (took the panda about 6 months to make the set) but the more pieces of it you acquire, the better the set bonus becomes.

You do also know that getting a full set of nirvana + weapon is 1k+ gold, right?
    6 pieces * 250 cannies each piece * 550k per canny.
    250 raptures * nearly 2m+ per rapture.
With the gold at 1.3m lately, you're looking at 1k+ gold right there.
And then there's the cost of TT/Lunar + the cost of getting good adds on your weapon at a cost of 7 raptures per try.

In my opinion, instead of buying cannies and raptures, just buy gold with your coins if you happen to farm or merchant and save for r9 sale.

Actually, it costs nothing but time unless you think of what you could have sold the uncanny/rapture's for without using them for yourself. This to Fuzzy however makes no sense. Who cares what you could have sold em for, instead you get a shiny set of armour.

So many people complain of being bored at end-game anyway, why not set the goal of a complete set and work towards it?

Why not set your goal higher and just get r9?
Makes perfect sense to me to sell cannies and raptures in order to get something better but to each his own.

Same could be said about Rank 9.

    Hey Fuzzy, do you merchant?

what sakubatou said ! and fuzzy said too! u can choose get r8 weapon since is a good weapon for a reasonable price... and about the nirvana gears, is ALL farmable, u don't need to waste too much to make, go solo some lunar instances, after that, when reach 100, farm all cannies, in 2 weeks of 2x drop i could make my plate and legg nirvana only farming, u just need to be patient, don't waste money!

btw, my english is fail too b:surrender but they can understand b:chuckle

    Hey Fuzzy, do you merchant?

Not really anymore. The panda only merchants these days when a new charm or the like is needed. Fuzzy has no real need for coin anymore.

Guys, what would you think about that set http://pwcalc.com/7aa126ba6a17bbfe ??

For me thats will be dreamy set, i know that will be expensive but still much more cheaper than R9. And that would be refined in future.

First question is: What do you think about that ?
Second question: Can anyone estimate the value of that set ?

    I'll be very grateful b:thanks

At the moment i dont have time to argue on your build.

But the 1st thing ive noticed is the 4socket 99HA pieces, while being refined to +3 only

    Refine HP > Gem HP

    Refine cost < Socket cost

    Just takes some efforts.

You need a lil more than 1000cannies and you need to do your chrono quest.

You can also get R8 for weapon, ring and a good belt replacement while fighting phy.

As i said before, the chances of getting all 4 socket is very low, and the price of getting the 4th is very high.

So i recommend to pump up the refines instead of aiming for full 4sockets
