It's not very hard, but it's best to look at a few archer guides first in the Wiki. Then decide whether you want him or not and no, it's not possible to attack a monster while running, unfortunately0

<.< Later on, you'll get an aoe mele range attack called Wingspan. You learn it at lvl39. If you were to use a skill called Winged Shield, you could potentially be able to take out 2 or 3 monsters at once if you spammed wingspan. Archers typically aren't used for killing multiple targets at once, at least not while regular grinding. It's faster and safer to simply target>kill>repeat. You're not a tank. =P
Also running (kiting) is an art. No, you're not able to attack the monster, but you get slow/stun skills quickly enough where running out of range and attacking before it can hit you becomes a viable strategy. Please note, I've never actually played an archer. This info is purely from watching my roommate play his, squadding with him, and learning his strategies from example.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

To kite a monster(run away/hit, run away/hit)run out of it's range, press your attack button while you keep running, you will barely stop and squeeze out a hit without turning around if you do this properly. But no you cannot shoot while moving.
And it is possible to kill more than one monster at a time, but definitely not at your level, and it is generally inefficient for grinding(at least on regular map). I did once in a while find myself barraging very large, tempting groups of mobs all cluster****ed together but that was knowing my capabilities and limits.0 -
If you are only level 3 and have to run, something is not right. You need to target a mob you know it out of range, your archer will move up to max range before firing. This puts extra distance between you and the mob. Also remember, as the mob gets closer, you damage goes down! If they are right on top of you, you might want to consider switching to a melee weapon though to tell the truth, I've never done that. Oh, use Take Aim as your opening attack since it takes longer to channel, then a normal attack until dead.
