    Ok, non troll answer: I don't really have a favorite genre. I like latin music, classical, pop, hip hop, RnB, rap, country, rock, JPoP, reggae, reggaeton, pretty much everything. The ONLY music I dislike really is metal.

    I like: 50's swing and rock'n'roll, jazz, blues, soul, rave, jungle (DJ Seduction, anyone ?), tech-funk, breakbeat, SOME dubstep, SOME ambiental and finally...pretty much any good indie band that can handle drums, bass and guitar.

    i.e. when i'm doing something else and not really actually listening to the music..except when i'm reading a book or something.

    Actually actively listening to music: Meh, I like all genres of music except for Rap/Hip hop/dubstep

    Punk, rock, hardrock, metal, alternative and sometimes random songs or a band in between that I like. Sometimes only for a certain period, sometimes I keep liking them... Examples from that are Daft Punk and Hard-fi.

    I just like it cause of the catchy hooks and the way the language sounds.

    Favorite from J-Pop is Koda Kumi and K-Pop is SNSD.
