So many Harshlanderds in P.Servers

So I've been doing some sneaky stuff in p.servers and found a huge load of HLers (ex zulus, kylins, mayhemys, caralystis, for crimmys I don't care though) playing there. When I talked with few of them (some people that CSed a bit in HL...) and they told me that since it's so easy to reach 105 now due to certain *nudge nudge wink wink* type of FC... and people getting a 2nd mortgage on their homes to instantly acquire r9+12 and buy enough packs to merchant a enough JOSD (I love how a CSer merchants too)... there's no point on playing the regular servers anymore lol.

I guess the only reason I'm still here is because I have a couple 10x alts in a couple powerhouses and I like listening to their QQ about each other lol. Other than that...

why bother farming/merchanting billions of coins over time (months I guess?)when I could just do it in like 1 week in a p.server? . I mean... don't heavy CSers take around 1 week to get enough JoSDs?... also mixing those d.orbs takes a shetload of time too)... Right?

    P. Servers tend to be run by hackers, for obvious reasons.

    While it's fun at first to join, kill one mob, hit 105 and have top-tier gear, I'd imagine it'd get boring fast. People quickly realize who can PVP and who can't, and those that can't get frustrated and leave.

    The other issue is that there's never just ONE P. Server, and hackers aren't always the nicest people. The last MMO I played accumulated 3-4 P. Servers, and before long they were hacking each other and crashing each other's servers in an attempt to be -the- private server.

    PvP on private servers is ****ing pathetic. It's just a **** load of people standing around not attacking eachother, then when one person attacks someone both those people get insta ***** by everyone else and then get camped for the next 30 minutes. Its a ****ing joke.

    It's simple. This game doesn't take any skill. It's all about gear. So what's the point of fighting other people with the same gear as yourself? It then becomes a random 50/50 who wins/loses depending on crits and pressing the right button at a certain lucky time. Might as well just flip a coin.


    At least on official servers not everyone can fork over $2000 to get uber gears, so you can kill people and brag about how l33t you are.

    RPG = simulated skill.

    Out of all the games available for free with private servers you choose PW? Official is bad enough, I can't imagine a private server.

    i still prefer to accomplish things in a actual game then priv servers. I have played some priv servers but it just gets boring. I play this game cause i still want to accomplish some things although I will probably never get r9 I am looking forward to the recast legs that I am gonna get next 2x. In priv servers where is my sense of accomplishment? Although heavy cash shoppers do kind of ruin this game and its gets old that they boast they can 1 hit me after spending 2 grand + on a game I just laugh it off cause they will never know pw and true skill like in old days (pre sins and packs)and money can not buy that =), To sum it up I play this game for my own sense of accomplisgment and that is all there is to it b:thanks which is why i refuse to play priv servers.

    There are only 3 real accomplishments left in PWI: getting 3rd fairy, getting 4th past belt and helping your guild succeed in TW. Everything else is no accomplishment, just buying things you want with coins you merchanted/got from CSing.

    So the fake pw was up for like..a few hours then went down again? Lol

    I don't see that being fun at all. Just like I Don't see cash shopping to get all the best possible gear in a week fun at all. What's the point of playing an RPG? If all you want to do is fight each other when everything is equal play Mortal Kombat or a strategy game.

    I'd love to see how much everyone that goes to fake pw from Valhalla gets their ***** kicked though. Hopefully people camp them all day so they get a taste of their own bull****.

    LMS have been up for years, which is why it was one of the few I tried. The other ones are fun cause I can copy some codes and load it for my self... then be GM and try all the features/instances with custom things like let's say 5aps warsoul bow or someething. It's not like PWI has new content at all.

    In all I accomplished http://pwcalc.com/8bf219a415a8cea3 w/o cash shopping at all but anyway... Im trying out FW (real server) :D

    private servers... meh. i have tried them for a little. i even remember trying different builds on them for veno (such as heavy build). i think theyre good for trying things out that you would like to do on the official server, such as builds or fashion colors, etc.

    but yea, besides that they are a waste of time. you have no idea when they will shut down or destroy all of your time you put into it. also, i havnt seen a p.server with even the tideborn classes yet ...

    The PW private servers actually don't seem to be too bad... I mean, there are a couple that have been known to DDoS other pservers but apart from that they don't seem so bad. They even have a forum where they share custom content with each other and have guides to starting your own pserver...

    That's cause the server files they use were leaked about 3-4 years ago and none have been leaked since then... And its basically impossible to add new classes without the source code for the game, but not having EG and TB aint really a bad thing imo :P
