I eventually got to do this too, heh.
This Thread is for us all to share spooky, eerie happenings that occurred to us or someone we know and we would care to share for the creeps. :D
Things that even nowadays did not find their explanation. Feel free to make this into a completely paranormal Thread... Should be interesting!

Will you live to tell the tale?... Here we go.
My story for today is one which I heard from a friend - her mother, when she was coming once home from a visit she had to a friend, at night, she met this strange cat wandering on the alley. It was really in bad shape, extremely thin, and did not look too well in general. She had some food with her in a bag so she called the cat "Kitty, kitty! Come to me!" and, then, the cat stopped, stared at her, and meowed "Kitty, kitty! Come to me!" on a really unearthly voice. She then froze in the spot, after the shock, started to run away from the cat, and when she got home, she told her mother what happened. The old superstitious woman sent her back with a bottle of holy water to spray around, and even though she still doesn't know if it had any effect, she heard loud, angry cat meows all the way back home.

She told her daughter (my friend) about this only years later. The woman we speak of now was not drunk on the said night or anything, and she's perfectly sane.

I also have some personal happenings which I will post later. Let's be storytellers, folks! It's for some good fun, after all, and maybe we could even try here to knock out some well-known myths, like the myth busters. :D

If it was a walking tree in a more likely environment, I would of believed it. But crossing the road, sounds like "chicken crossing the road" joke b:chuckle

But life is full of odd and hard to explain happenings without involving generally superstition :D That is why life is so wonderful sometimes... You think you know it all, and next thing you know is that something happens. o_o
For example... Why did that cup of tea move on the table without anyone touching it? Why did the lightning bolt struck three times in the same place? etc.

Hope you get what I mean :3

P.S. to Hazumi: I love how your Seeker looks ^_^!

I am superstitious, good and bad luck exists so do the unexplained and supernatural. one time while i was laying on the coach i heard a strang laughter behind me not facing my parents room.

i was playing one of my Fav video games in teh front room then i heard a low tone breathing from near were the window was behind me and nothing was there.(the breathing did not seem human, from game, or animal)

is having a very bad gut feeling about the trailer next door to me a good thing, the place never has anyone in it but the park says that someone is paying it off but the whole time i lived here that trailer had no one there yet alot of good stuff seems to be in it(i think the people ran off in a hurry and dont want anyone else to live theres thats my gues)

after my mum's late husband died, she was alone in my gramma's house in the bathroom washing her face. apparently, she heard him say her name really loud and she said for a minute she forgot he died and turned around, but there was no one in the house.
Not so much scary, but it's truely heartbreaking.

    Heh heh....

The things you call "paranormal" are a day in the life for me. I attach no religious belief systems to what I experience. It's all explainable via science, it just hasn't caught up yet. My friends and I have worked on various theories that explain what we experience almost daily. Man, the "stories" I can tell.

I found out since last year I've been sharing dreams with two people who live across the globe (one in Africa and one in Canada) since as early as 2004, and the dreams continue to persist. Nearly all of them tend to nearly always involve well, rather gruesome and horrific imagery and fighting for survival. From some of them and even dreams that weren't shared, I've woken up with fresh bruises, gashes and pain in areas of my body that coincided with injured parts of my body in the dream. I used to be too chicken to watch horror movies. Now Hollywood's special effects just seem no where near as scary.

And yes, we always withhold information from the dreams from each other in order to prevent bias and be as "factual" of the dream events we remember as possible. Sometimes it's a little too shaky to confirm as our memories aren't perfect. We were able to describe what we looked like to each other even, without seeing photos prior. Poltergeist and spirits and such, well it's pretty regular. It's not so scary when you take the time out to communicate and investigate instead of reacting in fear like you're pre-conditioned to. Providing it's not trying to kill you of course.

Meh. Disclaimer; do I expect anyone to believe me? Hell no.

I've seen ghost calf already. I went to feed a group of calves and one was acting weird by staying at the back of the pen. I told the owner and went home. The next day, I looked everywhere for the calf, but couldn't find her. I found the boss guy and asked him what happened. He said he went too check on her but he couldn't find her. So he loked at his records and we realized that the calf had been dead for two weeks already.

Now I'm seriously wondering what would have happened if I had walked into the pen by it.

    /Doublefacepalm (kind of cute though)

    On topic:

This one night I had a very frightening nightmare. I was stuck in a cubicle with a pen in my hand, three pens in the pocket of my white shirt, looking through glasses of some sort.

A mirror dropped in front of me, unveiling my hideous appearance. I was...an accountant.

I think I'd know a pterodactyl when I see one.

You may have done that to yourself while sleepwalking...its very possible! the best way to know is to buy a camara with good nocturnal vision and turn it on during every night a whole week.
Survival with other people? hmm how exactly? do you fight eachother? team up? what is attacking you? how did you find those people? is that contagious? i hope not...
