Lack of motivation.

So as I logged in today to try to get a few FCs in before I hit that hay I found myself having no motivation or desire to even want to even continue with the game. It has been 4 days since I played last and I honestly havnt really missed much. Same ol same ol. What do people do for entertainment now days honestly. I tried a few solo mode TTs...helped out a **** load of people and still im finding this game is getting so boring. I also find it increasingly difficult to find any sort of squad for anything. Has this game really become such a cashopper game that people dont actually play it anymore?......I know there a few of you out there but its few and far between. I dont claim to cashop...like you would consider a "cashopper". I spend maybe 20 bucks a month??? if that!. Just so I dont have to waste 4 hours getting what I could have in 2 seconds lol.
What is it that keep people here....is it your friends?...I can honestly say most of my old friends have moved on.... I stared this game awhile ago and quit several times only to come back...and be bombarded with all sorts of powerlevel idiots and people selling FC. I mean really this game is on the downfall. I read all these threads on how PWI is milking it all for what it is worth....and NO GMS whatsoever deny it or anything. Its sad really. I missed the game how it used to be. I mean I started a mystic alt and BARELY got him to lvl 50 just quests and BH alone. I couldnt find squads for anything quest or even boss related(culti included). I remember when someone would WC for an FB squad and it was a race to see who could get in lol. There used to be TONS of WCs for bosses all over the map,there were actual GMS in game that did things to help you.......ah the "good ol' days".
So again I ask. Are friends and Endgame TW/PK(if there is any) the only thing thats keeping all of you here?. I can say right now that im not going to quit....I'll continue playing till the game is dead and no one is even on lol. b:surrender I just would like some input on to what everyone's daily schedule is for this game if u even have one.
PS: to the PWI staff and company.......pls don't let what used to be a really great f2p MMO die because your too lazy/greedy to do anything about it b:sad

When you reach 100 + every day becomes like a chore, there`s simply nothing exciting to do, except TW`s (if your time zone permits of course) or leveling an alt which is even more boring than watching flies fu ck. There have been many topics about endgame and that PWI lacks endgame content, everything is so damn repetitive. I just log in, do my dailies (OHT, MQ and take nirvana keys) that`s pretty much it, I stand all day in 1 spot talking in fac or just afk while doing something else.

I would be long gone quit if it wasn`t for several people in game I can call friends. Pwi has no intention of keeping the old players entertained, you get to endgame (most) have spent some cash apparently, then new players come do the same and it becomes a never ending circle. This is just how i see it.

Over the last year I've stayed just because of the people in my faction but the time finally came when I was bored out of my mind, a very hard thing to do with a girl that can kill Dazzlewings by the tens of thousands. But . . . I've moved on to another FtP and have found the 'fun' of gaming again. I'll keep my account alive but doubt I'll play anymore and I do have my faction's website to keep in touch with friend, heck, I even keep a running commentary going there about my new game. Managed to pull a few from PWI over there but of course I can't mention the name here!b:shutup Strange, I can mention PWI there . . . What was that thing my dad said people spray painted all over the place back in when he was a teen? Something about someone Lives!

Well let's see, this game was definitely dead to me a long time ago. I stopped playing 9 months ago when I was level 98 because it definitely was the same old things everything. FC with hypers, bh maybe, WQ, OOOOOO MATS!!!, and what else? I mean, the end game content of this game is not very appealing. I was seriously bored out of my mind everyday. You just mindlessly push buttons really (depends on squad situations most of the time). I came back recently only because my cousin wanted to play again and wanted my help. I wanted to also achieve my long goal of getting to 100 and I finally did. But now, I'm here, as a level 100 veno, surrounded by squads desiring only APS users nowadays...what the heck am I still doing back in PWI? I hate how PWE runs things, I hate the cash shop, economy in the game stinks, I've gotten all the gear I wanted, I achieved my goal, I seriously have no idea why I'm online all the time. I guess it's two things: maybe get my BM to 100 to become one with the crowd of APS users (however, I am EXTREMELY lazy and I just have to go through the same hell my veno did to get to 100) and my friends.

Otherwise, I definitely would not say this is my favorite game or a game I can devote my time into. I have plenty other games that outmatch this like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000x. More zeros can be included even. Steam ftw.

This is the reason I've stopped playing two times, three months each. Ultimately, it's the reason I'm sure I'll quit for good eventually.

This game was designed originally with decent content but it doesn't ever get expanded upon and the developers give little incentive to keep doing 99% of the previously existing content so it's extremely easy to get bored of the repetition and little-to-nothing new you see between one year and the next.

Most people will tell you that by 90, there's only a few things they will actually log in for:

TW, which is only alive because of the reset and old rewards. Expect it to be dead again by around December, depending on your server.

PvP, which is bland and predictable when you have the average joe vs. R9.

Events, which after a while, become about as invigorating as the rest of the game.

Someone might log in to glitch a few Goons, do some BH, Nirvana, ect.

Level up another alt.

....if it's this bad over here, I can't imagine how bored out of their minds PW-CN must be...

Yeah, working on gear without spending... much money if any is my current challenge. Its so boring and frustrating that I'm thinking about giving up and doing something else again. Faction suddenly got quiet again, a few people just left including some friends.

The shocking lack of content *GASP* after 90 makes the game... Really boring. The same exact content over and over from 20-90 makes the game... Really boring to level alts. So... Yeah, pretty much agree.

Aside from that, yeah it's just FCC-fest. But Im finding it fun on my seeker. TT and BHs are fun to me too. But I don't do enough BHs, and TT..hadnt done that in months.

I havent even logged in for the past month and a half, and thought id check out pwi news to see if its even worth coming back to the game. if theyve even bothered adding something, anything, worthwhile.. and to my surprise, the ever new and exciting year of tiger pack has gone on sale... again? not to mention 7 months after the tiger year has finished.. how many times have we seen this? sale this and sale that, all the same ones too.. as boring and repetitive as the game content itself..
where are the game creators? and why arent the players getting any input on what should come out next?
if genesis is supposed to be the exciting new content weve all been waiting for, where is the stuff for the people who dont want to resort to making a earthguard alt to keep themselves interested... ? for the people who want to keep on going with their original classes? wheres the content for that?
I understand you need cashop to keep the funds coming to keep the game running, but at least they should use some of that for the players who can only spend moderatly and rely on in game events and instances to have fun in game... it seems the people who dont spend or spend very little are treated like a minority ( even when they are the majority). It is sad to see because i once loved this game.. but theres nothing fresh anymore that normal people with average income can possibly attain.
Its useless to post it seems, but if people keep posting their thoughts on this, which all seem to be the very same, then maybe, just maybe, something will be done about it.. until then, Ill keep my fingers crossed that something will come up in game for me to get the motivation to start back up again.

My Motivation comes from Improving my Gear and getting the Coins for it. I have no real reason what to do when i reached the "perfect gear state" the way is the goal and i agree its not much exciting to do after level 100. Things that could be exciting are events in a time windows where im sleeping.

I want more small scale pvp 10 vs 10 or 20 vs 20 with a reason to do so. I want some new pve content made for 101+ with at least r8 because thats pretty standard allready. I want pve content where you break in sweat again and with some nice rewards that make it worth farming.

i agree this game is so boring atm i was looking forward to 100 for a while and now i have reached it i have nothing to do. i guess my only fun is my faction and helping lowbies. i really wish they would make some new fun endgame stuff. something pvp that isnt ruled by aps or sins

I also quit because I got bored of the game. Working hard on gear I'd use once/twice a week for tw wasn't motivating, and the farming just got too boring.

(it's not good when college summer classes are more fun than a game meant to be played for fun, and they weren't that exciting of classes b:shutup)

if u become bored, lack of motivation and wanting to quit - then u reached endgame. after all that is the END, when u dont want to play anymore. time to move on to another game or spend more time in real life. u dont expect to play PW till u die ,dont u?

I'm a new player and I played for 5 hours yesterday and I'm only lvl 18 and ALREADY bored unless they do something about the game...I hope they realize that they (the staff of the game ) will be losing a LOT of money if they keep this up. I also wish they'd make better looking wings for the tideborn....I'm sorry those green fake *** wings are sooo queire...I don't know if I spelled that right but you get what I'm saying. I will not spend any money on this damn game until it is worth the spending!

I was about to quit due to a mishap that cost me nearly half the coins on my account, but by some miraculous stroke of luck the ticket I submitted got a response and I got my coins back.

However, I'm gonna stick with PWI for another 17 days until M12 comes out. Really it's just to kill time, I only log on when I'm bored out of my mind and have literally nothing else to do. Kill a couple hours by logging onto 2-3 characters and doing BH's.

Football season is here, less time to kill. Fly Eagles Fly!
