Ok before you guys cash shop anymore I think everyone should take a look at these things that show that perfect world entertainment doesnt care about players at all and only want your money

Notice the constant no server maintenances here with no word of whats going on with this game.

Here a new player asks if they should play this game and notice one guys post includes a link that shows they when asked pwe didnt even deny that their game was only gonna be milked like a cash cow for 1.6 years then abandoned.

Here you can see that pwe pretty much lied about the guild base wars, they said they would ask in china, but havent said a word in months.

Lastly here, you think they understood that players didnt like packs for pwi, but now fw has the same as pwi, they even have tokens now.

Their pack doesnt have high lvl gear but it has fashion lol. A 0.01% chance for fashion or a mount lmao. Notice the players feeling about these packs in the post, yet pwe doesnt care

    In the end, it's always about money. If there product isn't producing enough money, they throw it aside (along with support). If they want more money, they add packs in for end-game gear. People often say it's not PWE ruining things, but instead it's PW-CN/Wanmei. People are completely and utterly clueless on what PWE can do, and does. They carry in-game and out support, boutique/CS sales, translations, patch notes, localization, events (in-game and out), etc.

    This thread will most likely be locked, but hey... It's the truth. PWE is all about money. A greedy, filthy company. They will lie and tell "half truths" to get people to spend money.

    There are games I really wish were run by different company's. This game has the potential to be awesome but instead of keeping players around with content, they do it with cash shop power. Unlike a certain Java-based game that gives if not weekly then monthly content updates. Despite it's poor graphics and combat system it has a very loyal player base, and can even manage to sell subscriptions.

    There's a lot of stuff I could sit here and complain about but it's all on the front page. I uninstalled this game last week, and I'm sure as hell glad I did. Waste of space on my computer.

    By the way whatever happened to the Fashion contest we had? I haven't heard anything about that.

    Sure its all about money. They are a company, they wanna make a good profit before they trash it. No difference with other companies.
    But they arent half as greedy as alot of PLAYERS.

    locking this thread is stupid, they say we cant name competing mmos but these games aren't, they're from the same company. So i wanna know the reason why this should be locked other than the fact this is the truth that many are to scared to face

    they would make more money if they actually improved a game rather than scrap it after a year. (See WoW, GW, RS, etc) There is plenty of games that are still kicking after what.. 10 years+? due to active development and updates. PWE is a crappy company and everyone should know it by now.

    Well there's no saying a company can't get it's act together. A certain company that starts with the letter between M and O and produces a ****-and-slash MMO that starts with the letter between U and W have really done well with it. Everything in the game is farmable, everything can be soloed with skill, the only reason to spend money is for convenience or to simply make something easier. They pump out content pretty damn fast and they're very good about removing the glitches that would affect gameplay. Sadly most of their other games are pretty bad.

    BTW how many people had to sing the alphabet song? b:laugh

    after 3 years this game is steadily going downhill, I cant remember the last positive addition (that didnt unbalance/break pvp) to the game.

    I think getting their act together at this point is out of the question, too many people have quit. The only people that are around now are the veterans, no new players in their right mind would stay.

    i did but only a 2 sec blurp lol, but yea that is one of the mmo companys that i actually like and i do love some of their games

    It's never too late to turn things around. Fix sins and R9 and I'd come back, that's not that much to ask for.

    i must be a veteran player then seeing i played before the tideborn came out with only 3 races to choose from and 6 classes to choose from

    b/c i want to try a class that would fit my style ive tried to warp a barb into it but only got yelled at by other barb players on forums when i made my own guide for the barb DD build, another thing ive stoped playing a few weeks after tideborn came out theres more chars now that i came back in May of this year

    Ok we know game is going downhill by now. But some things were badly broke and not easily fixed. Let's take exemples :


    R9 being too OP

    Well of course, if u shell out 1200$ + (in a F2P game) to get full suit, u have the right to be OP. Maybe a bit less power to it would had been nice, now as it is, any R9 with a wep can one-shot a non-payer, litteraly forcing them to become cs'ers to keep up.

    Possible fix ?

    None, they actually encourage it by making rep sales so more and more can become R8/R9..Making more and more money in the process and making non-cs'ers not able to find squads for mid level stuff anymore and even high levels not able to fit in a high level instance cause of "high requirements"

    Sins

    Don't start to flame me, we know they are OP. Be it with their skills, massive chi gain, whatever.

    Possible fix ?

    None really, except maybe extend cooldown on some skills ? Or revise the chi gained by then ?

    Guild bases

    That was a big joke..At 1st it got me very interessted, but when I saw lack of updates to it. Yeah of course they are "some" quests in them, "some" things u can't get anywhere else but at what price ? My faction doesn't have one and I just relate to sayings from those who do, that it was mostly just a major cash sink.

    Possible fix ?

    At least include guild wars anytime soon.


    We are just trapped in a spiral really.. Farm ur *** off to get stuff that gets more and more costy each day or put more and more in game, to get to that "end-game" where sincerly, there's nothing great except TW. Once someone has turned celestial sage/demon and has full R9, he/she farms for what ?? Skills ?? How many R9/5 aps actually use more then 3-4 skills ?

    But what I find weird is that people know by now there's no real end game content.
    Yet..They still put more and more in game and get to 105 as fast as they can to get bored..

    Anyway, as if my opinion has any value..I did invest in game since I started in March 2010, a lot more then I thought I would. I think I can even safely say if I would have gathered all that money and not get into 2 failed marriage, i could have been married to the one I am with ,earlier, AND have full R9 myself..This game tricked me as it tricked others..I ended up averaging more per month then on a full fledged P2P game. To now see so many complaints day after day on the forums..

    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    im starting to make my chars a little different then other people to get more out of the freedom of the game that other players dont think to exist b/c of these so called standard guides that i think arnt that standar, and i couldnt make sense out of some of the barb guides they have now

    I could nerf sins.

    First lower dagger base damage to fist.
    Increase the amount of mana drained when in stealth.
    Then make Shadow Escape cost a spark.
    Decrease Tidal Protection and Focused Mind's %.
    Decrease chi gained by Inner Harmony to 1 spark and Rising Dragon Strike to 50.
    Increase Shadow Jumps cooldown.
    Decrease the amount of attack levels given by Chill Of The Deep.

    Sins aren't suppose to role BMs, seekers and barbs. The role of a sin is to roll over arcanes and archers. Which they would still be able to do. The class is extremely broken, and is part of the reason why I quit. If you think those changes would ruin you

    Psys are pretty OP as well once they are fully refined.

    1 thing I can think of with sins however is maybe reduce the duration of some of their stuns. And could also make expel work the way it used to work. (with expel being casted on the sin itself so it couldn't attack for a while)

    And to the idiots that say "you can still expel sins" no you can't, unless your fighting a sin that is a total dumba** that doesnt check their buff filter in their protections.

    Also, I think stealth is fine by itself, aps in manageable on normal classes, but both combined is just stupid. you get hit like 3-4 times before you even see them pop up on screen because of server lag.

    lmao still people QQing about the same old stuff on the forums...sins are so op because i made one and it sucked so im guna complain... its those sins that make yours NV runs 10x faster and sells for for you to lvl your alts and farms HH easy to get you matts and bring down the matts prices right?

    more cashshop QQ uhh yea might wana try loggin off the game and finding a decent job or somthing like most of the people that cashshop.. we dont have time to farm and rather spend our time on doing things we want too rather then trying to grind....dont hate cos people have more income then you lmao

    What negative effect does it have? I like it when they skip maintenance. That's a long time for my cat shop to be down.

Many decisions and assertions are being made by many people in the company with a language / communication barrier between them to boot. Some people working for them are even working for free. They even took on someone that talks in third person. I don't think we can expect much accuracy in what we hear from them.

    Arcane Book: Pets -in the Cash Shop for 2 Gold! -One of the biggest scams going on.

    Failed C2Ds (they used to work fine) -take full notes, submit on a ticket; and see no reimbursement.

    Silly Bannings -even of heavy cash shoppers that we're not allowed to discuss here, while many others should be banned but aren't. (opinion)

    Ongoing blatant harassment and trolling by JanusZeal/ WaffleChan/ TearValerin (same person) making these forums among the most hostile / filled with nonsense forums on the web.

    The original Rep sale with rank 9 launching at 90% off throwing nearly everyone's plans and investments out of whack. - Good example: Someone having obtained Warsong Daggers only to have Rank 9 not only be better, but far easier and cheaper to obtain a month later.

    I can't imagine what negative effect could come about, when you don't restart/reset the servers. How about, timed events never being correctly in time? Things being moved around with spells on the server, so no player can do the "thing" correctly, etc. No maint means nothing is reset. It also means, no new content/patch/updates to the game. How is that bad? Lol.

    You seem to really have quite a way with words.
