Stocks slid, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average to the lowest level since September 2010, and Treasuries rose for a third day amid concern the European sovereign debt crisis is worsening. The dollar climbed versus 13 of 16 major peers, with the euro losing 1.3 percent to $1.4186. Gold futures surged to a record above $1,800 an ounce.
I thought we're re-posting stuff here...1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.

US credit gets downgraded, stock market goes bananas, and investors start buying... US treasuries? how does that even kind of make sense, unless the downgrade was atrificial monkeying with the system to chase people out of stocks drop the price for the price to later bounce up for quick gains in the 100s of billions.
and the only safe harbor being recently downgraded securities?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
