Mount disappeared?

I recently came back to the game after being gone for roughly a year/8 months/who cares, it was a really long time... And I have no flying mount anymore. I never deleted it, sold it, etc. Was there a patch that removed or updated the starter mount for level 30s? That was the one I had, and- as I stated- it's now gone. Vanished. MIA. Bereft of existence. Kaput. Other words to say "it dun' got disappeared."

Anyone know what could have happened?

    Your flyer must have been the "time limited type". I don't recall on what lvl supply chest, but they give one that last 7 days. Maybe it's that ? (Also new from last expansion, they give one in lvl 15 supply that is time limited too) The one i'm taking about though I think is in the lvl 35 or 40 one..
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Nope. It was the default level 30 quest one. Last I played, it wasn't time restricted. :\

    Are you sure it isn't in your bank/account stash/inventory?

    Hm. There's been a few people reporting missing items after an extended absence, lately... I wonder if this is related to the bug where my veno keeps losing her gear (which is why I stopped playing my veno really, some months ago)? And yes, I filed a ticket. And no, nothing ever came of it. And yes, we all know the damn game is buggy. But there's a definite trend starting of "missing items".

    (As for my veno's gear issue, it's equipped and then suddenly it's *gone*... Not in inventory or anything. It's happened while running around SZ, it's happened while running around killing shtuff, it's happened while flying in fox form. Needless to say, she doesn't get any of my good gear to wear anymore...)

    That's awfully strange there Fintan. I've been playing almost 3 years now and I've never heard of that "bug".

    I've had that happen on my alts. I use them as banks for mats and gear. One day I can log in and find all my stuff where I left it and then next... <poof>.

    I have some HH gear ('scuse me, TT) that goes away and comes back on a regular basis.

    On my main, I tend to see mostly pots vanish now and then.

    I have sent in a ticket and the reply is.... <crickets churping>

    So Frankie.... is this something that is being looking into?
    (and if you tell me to submit one more damn ticket, I'll fly out to CA and take a big ol'
    dump on yer 'puter!) b:laugh
