Youre calling someone boy after making this grade school post?
Have some class, this is a thread for someone thats in a bad way to see that people in the game wish them well and care about them.
Take your petty personal trash to the person you have a problem with in private or on another thread.0 -
@ Luci, I'm not going to really address that issue with you in detail. I saw your post last night, and I wasn't even going to acknowledge it on this thread at first. I'm also not going to lash out at you for it. It's not your fault that you don't know the whole story. I'm sure you've only heard whatever version Silent gave you anyway, and (unlike me) you have no proof of what actually happened. As Sar said this isn't the place for that. But since your statement has started to raise questions, I feel a little clarification is in order. Yes, I may have overstepped my bounds by checking up on her computer, but as I said before, I've known Lily in real life a very long time. I knew there was something going on with her in the days leading up to the accident. Something that was making her upset. I needed answers to make sense of all of this, and now I have them. So was I overstepping a bit? Yes. Do I regret it? No. Because now I know what happened, and how to help her and how to protect her, and I will do anything to protect Lily. Does that make me some hero? No. I'd do what anyone else would have done if they loved someone for several years, never stopped loving them, in fact, and that person ended up in a coma fighting for her life and almost dying. I wasn't trying to get involved in her and XxSiLeNtShOt's business. I never planned to either. I sat back for months and stayed out of it. Left him alone in faction chat when she asked me to. But when something occurs that leads to her ending up in the hospital on life support, prompting me to fly out here to sit by her side for 6 hours a day, holding her hand and watching her lay there helpless, not even able to breathe for herself, having to sit here useless and scared even watching her have a seizure and go into cardiac arrest at one point, THEN it becomes my business. Now I'm involved. So I do the one thing I CAN do to help her. The only thing I can do. I don't sit back and wait for her to ask for help, because I know Lily, and I know she never would. But that doesn't mean she didn't want or need help. Although I'd love to publicize just exactly what went down that weekend before it happened, I'm practicing restraint here, because my one most important concern is protecting her, and the last thing she needs is to come back and relive all of that by reading about it on a video game forum. And to be honest, I'm going to strongly discourage her from ever coming back here. 1. Because I don't want to see her hurt again by the same person who caused all of this in the first place, who at the moment seems more concerned with whining about being a "victim" himself (which he's not) than taking responsibility for what he's done, or even bothering to care about what happened to her while he runs around "LOL'ing" in pk mode in West Arch all day having a great time. 2. I don't know how much of all of this she will remember and I'm debating on whether she's better off not remembering it at all. I'm sure she's going to want some answers, and I'll deal with that then.
I apologize for the rant, but as I'm sure you can imagine all of Lily's irl family and friends (including myself) and even her online friends have been through a lot since this happened. I don't usually get involved in drama, and all who know me can attest to that. I rarely even talk on faction chat. This has been an extremely sensitive subject and I could be saying a lot more, but I'm trying very hard to hold back for her sake.
On a positive note, Lily is conscious now. She's recognized all of us who have showed up to see her so far. She hasn't been speaking much, but she's able to answer questions, such as the year, the month (didn't know the exact day of the week, but that's to be expected). She knows her name, birthday, other personal information, etc. And there seems to be no paralysis. She doesn't remember the accident at all. No word yet on when she will be released.0 -

That's aweosme news. Hope she recovers fast and with no permanent damage.
And ppl please leave this thread drama free. I wanna know about lilly, not about your mexican soap opera-esque issues on this thread. For that you have pms and world chat.Sliding we go, only fear on our side. To the edge of the wire and we rush with the tide.

Sorry, but you're wall of text was scaring me. I am glad she (Lily) is conscious though. Comas are very serious affairs when it comes into the depth at which the mind can go. From 6 months to 30 years. I am also glad she is not paralyzed.
It is also distressing to hear that in-game conflicts beyond the friendship department may have lead to things in the real world that make one feel acute physical or mental suffering.
In another incarnation of Perfect World we had a member from a server called 'Delphi' pass on and a lot of people found this very surreal. In the past there was on guild in another MMO that had an online procession to mark the passing on of a member of their guild.
The digital age has fascinating ways of being in some ways game meets life and life meets game. As technological change advances we may find more sombre ways of plugging into the essence (dare we say soul) of humanity.

its not that nobody here doesnt want to say it ambi, its that this here isnt the place to say it, this is meant to be a thread about how lily is progressing and letting all know her current state, not arguing and trashing those who may have played a part in what happened. there are better places for that.
that aside, i'm truely relieved to know lily has woken up and is doing so well. she's one of the sweetest people i've ever met in my entire life, and i have more respect for her than i do for most people. and i have a new found respect for gahd aswell, for holding restraint while someone who he loves so dearly lies in a hospital bed. i for one am the type of person who couldn't do that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Pretty much the same update I posted for Vicious:
So, when I went to see Lily this morning they had her back on oxygen (not the ventilator). She's not unconscious but she's having trouble getting enough air into her lungs, probably as a complication from the broken ribs because she's not able to breathe as deeply as she should be. Her finger nails were looking sort of blue... She's been experiencing nausea and is throwing up a lot. I don't know if that's from the head injury or something else. They have her on fluids to keep her hydrated. I was told not to panic, and this doesn't mean she's not getting better.
For Lily hang in there, hun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyZ-VclSTTQ0 -
I wish you a full,healthy recovery.0

Did silentshot make lily flip her ATV? Was she was wearing a helmet when she hit her head on rocks? You know publicly trying to shame someone on forums for an accident he was not involved in is pretty low class. He may be an immature kid but you're as bad as him for making all this drama.0 -
