Kritty's Contests, Pt. 2 - Taking Ideas

I think some of use remember my first contest, for who could create the best signature. Well, I think it's about time for me to run another contest, with the same prize as the last one. The only problem is... I have no clue what I should make the contest about!

Anyone have any ideas? Post them here!

I'll take ideas for 2 weeks, then run a poll to see which idea is chosen by the people who will be involved. Then, I'll make a new thread for the contest. Let's get this party started!

Also, if you don't feel comfortable posting your idea here, feel free to PM me with your ideas!

(Rules for the contest will be decided after the contest has been officially decided upon, so feel free to suggest away....and ignore Zameri.b:chuckle)

    How about a perfect world logo making contest? Where we all make our own version of the perfect world logo and gms pick like the best 3 from each server then let us the people vote on the best one?b:laugh

    Right... but there were some other fashion contests if I remember...

    That's what I dug up, unfortunately it's not even the thread I was seeking. >_<

    About a fashion contest... well it's nice, but not everyone can afford fashion. And in my opinion it's pretty much pointless to reward the one with the 'best' outfit with 10 bucks worth of zen. o_o

    I'm still voting for a screenshot contest. There should be rules that there's no real photoshopping allowed, so that everyone can participate on the same level. Turning your graphics up for a shot or two shouldn't be TOO straining if you don't have the best comp <.<

    ;_; I can't afford fash because I'm free to play, (plus my cleric is ugleh D:), and I know a lot of people that can't afford fash, or dyes for fash they're unhappy with, so that doesn't sound as participant friendly.

    I'd be in support of the screenie contest with those rules. As much as I absolutely love the pros screenshots, I feel like a good laptop as a requirement to have chance is more cost prohibitive and restrictive then say fashion which you can get for free with dq points. :P And wow two years ago...no wonder I didn't remember it. -_- also if the last contest was so many ears ago then screenies/videos have definitely done more recently, IJSLOL I don't really remember spoons that well I didn't care about the forums for the longest time and learned how to play through mostly trial and error. :P If no photoshop was allowed and screenie quality wasn't used as a factor in judging though, then that would definitely be more inclusive.

    Upon further consideration I came to the following conclusions:

    a) Invent a never-to-be-implemented fictive GM skill (with all the necessary stuff).

    b) Find new funny/witty subtitles for the Seeker & Mystic class sections. (If I'm not mistaken Venus made a thread about this in GD)

    Those contests would be totally user-friendly in my opinion - anyone has the brains to think about some lines. b:chuckle

    How about a funniest face or wackiest character contest. Who can make/already has the funniest looking character. Headshots instead of it being a fash contest obviously. :P It would be like an anti-beauty pageant.

    Well, there are informal contests on each board (Mystic and Seeker) to pick a subtitle, so if you have an idea, go there and put it in words!

    Pity contests... PWI ppl need a true challenge!! Level a char from 1 to 102 without any hypers, oracles, scarlet fruits, etc whatever may be consider not old school!! I know some ppl have already achieved this but i know most of them wouldnt't do it again now, and some of them might have even secretly drank the hyper cocktail b:chuckle tastes like honorless?? Wouldn't you like to be admired of beeing a pure grinder instead of ending up to be a noob i find everyday in my BH's squads?? Think about it honorable ppl of PWI b:thanks ...

    NOTE: Not even everyone that fcc's/hypers may turn out to be a newb! Myself and most of the ppl that i know have hypered/oracled, this is just a true challenge that i dare some of you to attempt ;) .

    btw Kritty, id be all for a fanfic contest its something anyone with an idea can do(i will admit theres a few people in the fourms that dont match that description though b:chuckle), my fash is pretty bad so i wouldnt wanna pwn these other girls in an anti beauty pagent(not that id wanna win that anyway) b:shutup
