Sins are OP in every way, when you run into trouble, you can ***** out and stealth, and stay stealth for 10 years if you want. with attack rate and damage, you will heal yourself extremely well and can solo most instances wiht medium gear.

Note also seeing its only click and sit back while character attacks, also one of the most boring classes in the game

Ok, let me stop you right there before things get out of hand for you.

The thing you need to know is that PVP in this game is extremely broken and gear-biased. Be prepared to spend unhealthy amounts of time and/or real money if you want to get the kind of gear appropriate for serious PVP.

I highly suggest going into this game with a PVE focus, as if you want a good PVP system, there are way better games out there for it.

That being said, you're going to here a lot of people telling you to play an Assassin. This is because sins are one element of why PVP is broken now. But hey, if you want to waste time/money on PVP Assassin #90716906716904769134068124, be my guest (although I hope you do it on a server other than mine
    >_>).

People are trolling saying sins are the best for PvP, clerics are actually hardiest to beat in PvP, they can sit there and spam there regen heal as simple as 5 times, then there pretty much immune to death for like 15 seconds while you sit there and faceroll the keyboard and watch them drop.

*few months later, PWI puts rank8/9 into the CS insanely cheap, raising gold 1mill+*

Perhaps it wouldn't hurt for you to do your own research.. Taking the word of others is never the best way to start. Try them all, check out each specific section of the Class Discussion forums and see which tickles your fancy.

Might not hurt to check out the PVP server forums either. The PVP servers are Lost City & Harshlands.

It's not a matter of who to believe. The fact is, you won't 'own' anyone until you reach high levels like 100 probably. You will need gear called "Rank 8", which literally EVERYONE has, and it will cost you $72 real dollars, unless you can farm that much coin in game. And to top it off, Rank 8 isn't even very good anymore. Many people now have "Rank 9" gear, which will cost you no less than $1,500 dollars. These people will press a single button and you will die instantly. What's more, each piece of gear (except ornaments in some cases) can be "refined" or strengthened from +1 all the way to +12. This will add defense or HP to your character and is absolutely essential. Unless you have loads of HP coming from refines, you will be destroyed quite often. How do I refine to get HP you ask? Well, today's standard is usually a +10 refine level. In order to reach this level, you must buy (usually) 3 "Dragon Orb Oceans" which cost $20-25 dollars each.

Now you know a little bit about how stupid the cash shopping system is in this game. As for your class, the Assassin class is stupidly overpowered, but here's the kicker, you will need either Rank 9, or what is called "5 APS (attacks per second). This is not cheap either, the weapon you will need will cost (without farming) over $200, so will the leg piece, and you need a Rank 8 chest, so throw in another $72. Once you have everything you need, you can basically do anything PVE related that you want better than anyone else.

But then there's refines again. If you have a lvl 100 Assassin (or Sin, as they are called) that has unrefined gear, you'll likely have 4000-6000 HP. This is laughable and you will die constantly. Take me for example. I have +10 leggings, which offer an extra 900ish HP, a +10 Helmet, which gives me another 1000+ HP, and a +10 Cape, which gives about 700 more HP. My HP is 8200 unbuffed. That is simply 'ok'. It's enough to survive well in PVE, but in PVP its quite easy for a well refined Rank 9 to press a button and *poof* I die.

And if you DON'T play an Assassin, and you try to go out PVP'ing, you can expect a number of random assassins to randomly pop out of stealth and kill you. No, you cannot see them, and yes, they can one-shot you, or attack so fast you die instantly.

Most people pay in-game coin to powerlevel their characters as well so there is an influx of noobs. Leveling is boring as hell, and once you reach lvl 100, there are only a handful of instances you can farm over and over and over and over and over again with little variation.

So I've painted you a picture of this game, it's not a beautiful one.

Everything this person say is entirely true, OP. (Well, except for the part about "everyone" having r8, but yeah)

See what I said - don't waste your time/money on serious PVP in this game. If you want good PVP, I'd look elsewhere. Stick around here for the PVE element, and move on when you're bored of it. :)

You're right, not everyone has it, but the vast majority of 100+ players do. The point is, without it, you're only going to be rolled that much harder :(

Vast majority on HL, maybe. On HT I'd say it's still sadly the majority, but not as much as on a PVP server. Outside of a PVP server though, there's still no basis for this myth that you "need" r8. -_-

Personal Opinion: Are you willing to spend a real life dime in this game? If no i should strongly advice you to search for another game. I have been here for two years and I'm I glad i started early in this game to get some of the actually stuff i have. It is extremely hard for some1 start from ground zero on current PWI's situation. Unless you spend real life money or stay 24/7 farming/merchanting ingame. If you dont want any of that i'll strongly recommend for you to search for a new game. PWI isn't just the same and not even any1 (non CSer) can.. at this time be "decently geared" anymore. My toughts over the subject.

I may have lost everything, but I've still got my bedazzler.
