Add Level Restriction for Platinum Charms

Platinum Charms should come with a level 10 or level 20 level restriction. They aren't really of any benefit in extremely low levels and I've already equipped 2 charms on my catshops.

Or better yet how about you are able to unequip unused charms (so they don't bind until the first tick).

Agree with both. In fact, I'd say restrict it so that silver charms and above have a level requirement of 30. Between the quest charms you get and bronze charms (if you need it that badly), that's all you'd actually use before level 30. Plus it keeps catshop alts from accidentally equipping them when combined with the whole... you know... charms being completely unable to be removed upon equip thing.

That aside, making charms only stay equipped AFTER the first charm tick would be very useful for many of us who have problems like... say... going into a TW, charms at the ready, getting no-showed, and being stuck with a charm burning without need in mindless PvE for the rest of the week (assuming the person doesn't just attempt to find some PK to give their charm use).

If the devs wanted charms to be removable, they would have been from the beginning.

Are you saying devs have a form of intelligence..? hasn't really showed yet so far...

Well I can understand not wanting people to be able to remove half used charms because they could sell them in catshop at full price to try to scam people. It would also create a secondary market for used charms that would compete with fresh ones from the boutique.

Neither of those applies to an equipped charm that has not ticked though.

Still a simple level restriction would help out a lot. At least add a damn dialog if you attempt to equip one.

that would compete with fresh ones from the boutique.

They would not do that because then less people would be buying from the boutique.
    Pwi wouldnt want that.

I never understood why people didn't just level their catshop alts to like level 5 and do that try to jump quest on their chars. It takes like very little time and you get a free lowbie charm that you can equip to your character. Get an HP one and then at the very least you won't do that to the expensive charm. That lochmur treasure quests also helps with this as there is a spirit charm you get from that too. Then you WILL have a dialog box if you try to equip a new one. Bronze charms are also cheap and will prevent you from accidentally wasting a lot of money if you can buy that. Why prevent people from equipping the charm they want to equip at the level they can buy it on the off chance some merchant isn't paying enough attention or lags and accidentally equips their charm? I do think being able to unequip if it's not ticked or having a dialogue pop up before you equip one are good ideas though.
