    Upgrading graphic to higher level mean change of engine = make new game instead
    Remember, higher level of graphic = better pc = those who can't keep up, leave
    What's the point of higher level graphic if the game itself stay the same ?

    Anyhow, nice stuff, but has nothing to do with PWI.

    Also, Nowitsawn I really need to learn how to edit gifs, I like those megaman ones, especially the ones that remind me of MM 1-5.

    Since this thread is derailed, I probably should sit myself down and make myself a proper PWI siggie, too. Too bad Nowitsawn took the simplest thing you can do for a cleric already... b:chuckle But I have other ideas, oh yes... *cackles*

    It's a scam really. Sparse voxel octree renderers have been around for years but are impractical for games because everything has to be precomputed. Notice how nothing at all is moving? Did you see any dynamic lighting at all?

    I hate how smug he sounds while carefully dancing around the severe limitations of this kind of technology that make it not suitable for actual games. These people are just making hype so they can troll for VC money.

    I guess you're just not use to hearing someone speak that's not american.

    Also no game can upgrade to that, as the tech isn't even available yet, I saw this on mmosite a couple day ago like, but having a game upgrade to that, would most likely end up needing a whole new game engien, which would involve re-designing the game as-well to meet the engine requirements, if the devs cba to even do so much as upgrade the old lands to kind of look like the EG graphics, then yeah there's no hope for this kind of upgrade.
