Heaven's Tear Server Drama

So, I've been reading world chat lately, and there seems to be alot of drama about, a director or a faction on HT apparently PKing a Love: Up and Down tome from a faction member. I was hoping to get some opinions on this subject so please help me out with this and if the person that lost it is at fault or if the person who PKd him for it is the one to blame. I personally blame the person that took it but I would love to have your opinion as well. :)

    Naming and shaming other players isn't allowed here, might want to remove names before you get your thread locked.

    Anyway, I'd say they're both at fault. Doing that to a faction mate is lame, but on the other hand you should bind stuff like that if you're gonna PK (or at least carry scrolls).

    I agree with the above poster. It's not like it's hard to put a safety lock on or carry GAs.

    Look, it's not like this was a wined fb or something and everyone had agreed to give the winer/tabber the drops and then someone ran off with one. This is a case of someone wasn't smart enough to use protection from dropping in the form of GAs, Safety Lock, or binding their things. I certainly would return it to a faction mate, but if someone drops something when you PK them because they weren't smart enough to use protection. That item is yours. It's the spoils of war and now maybe that person has learned a valuable lesson. I mean I feel bad for them. I really do. I would hate to lose something that valuable. But it's not like he was robbed. First off, you choose to PK especially on a PvE server. Then he chose not to keep his things from dropping despite how valuable they were. Dems the breaks.

    right, but the thing about all this is, the sin who lost it, was new to the game, and didnt know about safety lock, or about pk, and the person who took it, supposedly, let the sin pk him over and over for red name and then the other person killed him, and took the tome

    If you're that new to the game, then maybe you shouldn't be spending that much money trying to God Mode people before you even understand the game's mechanics. This person probably bought what they did and chose the class they did because they heard they could kill everyone. Now they've learned that even though a skilled sin is indeed a deadly character in 1v1 PVP, and even though it doesn't take that long to learn a class. You should still at the least browse the How-To-Guides in order to know what you're dealing with. I mean I feel bad he lost his things but at the end of the day it's his fault. Just like it's your fault if you're building something, don't read the instructions, and then break something. Live and Learn.

    It would be nice if we could join factions and feel 100% confident that everyone else is going to play nice, but the reality is that there are jerks out there. It seems a little arrogant or stupid to PK without using some sort of protection when you have something like that equipped.

    Assuming I PKed and was able to win, I probably would have given something like that back if it was a faction member or friend. Some people aren't as nice as me and that's why protection exists.

    It's a bit sad that it was a faction member that did him wrong, but anyone that PKs and has items like that had to know the risks.

    Edit: Sorry, but I'm not buying the story about the person not knowing how PK worked. The item he lost is NOT something a newbie can easily get their hands on. Even I figured out how PK worked after less than a week in game.

    New to game + end-game optional piece of 350m-400m tome? It's the person's fault for being a moron. Don't drop that much coin/cash and expect you can't loose the item without having SL, bound, or GAs.

    But since it's a faction member, wouldn't it be normal to return it? if not, all hell breaks lose and drama is sure to happen of course.

    there are just some things worth getting a temporary bad reputation for, a near half billion coin item being one of those things....

    Not sure it works like that. There are guildies that I would gladly kill in any situation (although not sure if they are still guildies). And then there are people from opposing guilds that I will not kill in any situation outside of TW. Just cause I am in the same guild as someone... doesn't mean I have to like them... or even know them.

    Lol! Thats hilarious. Noobs will forever be noobs. This is exactly why powerleveling your toon as a newcomer is not beneficial - you miss the nuances of the game. Cashshopping and powerleveling noobs who think they can get fame & glory by buying their way to the top are only kidding themselves. This clearly shows how ignorant these noobs are of the game system rules.

    I love seeing these noobs drop more high valued items. Keep it up!

    Meh, people that P.K. only using Safety lock should be stoned for being a total dumb-***. Especially if they are carrying 400Mil + in drop-able items.

    If the person loses the said 400Mil + item, then I would give it back, but make them pay me a 100Mil fee for being stupid.

    If you're going to P.K. only using Safety lock, then it's on your own *** if you drop it.
    Only sure-fire way to not lose anything, is to carry multiple Guardian Scroll stacks. and Lookie! They are on sale! G.G.

    I personally would not give back that item, after all its a "spoil of war". Call me whatever you want, but ignorant people like that who think they can be "God Almighty" and lack the common sense dont really deserve my sympathy - whether it was a guildie or not. Simple as that.

    I have to agree with what most are saying here. If you are stupid enough to not have GS then you deserve to lose sht. I don't believe they didn't know about em or the other things pk'ers use.I think its a load of bs. As for being a gm,if we had anyone that stupid in enrage i would be upset if we didnt pk him ourselves for being such a dumb ***.

    I just dont get it why do u PK if you don't want to lose things. That's why PK is what it is right? This game has too much drama. If someone PKs someone else and that someone takes the drop then hes the worst person alive I mean come on get a facking life. b:bye
