Soulsmasher or Flashfire?

Which one is cheaper to buy/create and which one i should get at 80 Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher or Flashfire? + would be good if u told how much does the crafting cost :)

    Crossbow is cheaper. 80 gold bow is more useful during those levels

    Getting a Vast Land at 85 is better overall.

    Do u mean Returning squall? but i need same materials to both of them, soulsmasher and Flashfire

    No, I do mean Flash Fire when I said crossbow since the gold mats alone for a soulsmasher will cost you almost as much as all the mats for the crossbow, even though the soulsmasher will outperform the flash fire.


    However, your best (and cheapest) option would still be to simply wait until 85 and then get a Vast Land.

    why Vast Land? Get Broad Land, can get it +5 for under 20M in RT, I got my +7 with garnet Gem +7 for 24M, lasted me till R8

    These days you can get by without any TT weapons. Could just do 69 legendary sling -> broad/vast land -> HS -> R8

    Really you can get by just hypering straight up to the R8 so the idea of a weapon progression might be kinda obsolete.

    Id say Broadland --> r8 is the way to go (Thats what I did). It skips having to buy HS since with proc BL+5 or more is a pretty hard hitting wep. If you were to get Flashfire or Soulsmasher you would likely need an upgrade before 100. Soulsmasher would also be useless after crafting since its bound (Unless you have a sin alt that may use it sometime soon). If you can't afford Broadland I recommend Flashfire -> Some TT90 bow or HS -> r8.

    Personally, I'd like to think our newbies aren't quite as jaded and bored with this game as some of us are. XD



    @OP: You have all sorts of choices for weapons, and that's the beauty of it. No matter what you end up getting, as long as it's roughly appropriate to your level, it will work fine. :)

    For reference, I used TT60 Xbow -> Unicorn -> Refined Unicorn to +3 at 80 and waited for Vast Land -> Vast Land (+3) until 96 -> Burst of Vacuity (+5) and a couple other weps. It's a fairly cheap path and would serve anyone well unless they intend to do serious PVP.

    You can craft a free level 80 gold bow to by handing in Divine Honor of the Shadow. Got one for my BM ages ago. It doesn't have interval tho but who cares at 8X. You can craft loads of molders for free if you do Divine Contracts quests after your BH.

    Guardian of the Realm. I remember at 70-85 wielding Unicorn and not wanting to get a Soulsmasher. I searched far and wide for said 80 bow or a mold, but it was not yet implemented as Divine Contracts didn't come out until I was 94. Also, ijs but -int on a bow only really gives you a .04~.05 ish boost in attack rate. Ex: .83-->.87

    Guardian --> Heaven Shatterer is definitely an option, especially if you are planning on LG --> Nirvy instead of r8.
