This is a poll for cashshoppers.

How many of you are still here playing this game begrudgingly because you invested too much of your real life income, inheritances and student loans in it to move on?

All I hear is people claiming they would have quit by now if they hadn't already spent so much money on their gear and it's slightly sad that it seems to be the main motivation for people to log on.

    I am not a huge cashshopper, but what I have spent on this game I don't regret. I see it as a hobby like any other and most hobbies require some $$ put into them - some require big $$. Its all personal choice imo :)

    Two main things keep me playing now - TW and friends that I have met ingame :)

    i do cash shop, but not alot. and yes i did CS US$500 for my R9. i have credit card and im rich, so what?


    ok, now i get to the point, did i regret? no.

    its all about what you wanted from this game. if people CS because of farming, then they will need to farm and not let their CS money go waste. if people CS for PVP, then they PVP til they are bored.

    i play this game to get what i couldnt get in real life... love, respect and fame. and after CSing US$500, did i get what i wanted? ye, i got more respect from other noobies more than ever, people treats me as superior to them because i have r9. im so superior to others that i will have at least 50 PMs per day asking me to go nirvana. and am i famous now? YES, im one of those 10+ sins that have R9, so im well known. everyone knows me.

    i did not regret CSing, in fact i think its better than purely no CS but being overpowered, that makes you look like a die-hard persistent no-life grinder+farmer, its not pro... its more like tourette syndrome. CSing once in a while is good, just dont CS like Shinzoko.

    I would say I wish I had started playing at a different time in the game so I could face roll on the keyboard and gotten full r9 for 90% less than what I've spent on the game in the 2 years prior to it coming out.

    You said more then once you "FARMED" your R9, now you " i did CS US$500 for my R9". give me a break lingzi. and if you can not quit, just play the game quietly. R9 does not make you well know, you are indeed well know, but it is not because you are a R9. If "well know" is one of the goal you tried to get, then you successfully achieved it long before you become a R9. please also stop thinking every guild wants you, I personally hard to believe any guild wants you.

    yeah, for the few players who had gear that would be considered decent even by today's standards before rank and orb sales... r8 and r9 were kind of a raw deal, expenditure-wise.

    unless of course you had the wastefulness to drop a +10 neon purgatory and not give a ****. *cough*

    everyone, $500 does not grant you a R9 weapon. a R9 weapon needs at least 785 gold a.k.a. $785.

    @swgs, i CSed $500 for R9, the extras r farmed. and i did quit but i like LC forum so i still come here.

    Having a $500 to spend on a game is not rich. Having a credit card is not rich.

    ive so far spent $0 in this game i play for fun not worried about the standards for classes that are implemented now for some reason, i dont like catsshops no more to much money they want, not like before raging tides came out, yes its possible to play this game without spending real life money to play only thing spent is time



    Edit i thought we were talking about Catshops srry need to read slower next time who wouldnt relate catshops to cashshops in this game

    @ SlashSin, i still remember you and your evil r.9 right after +10 nv daggers b:shocked, must've sucked #*(*(@ using that much & getting banned.

    .. I've probably spent close to 400-500$ usd total, it doesn't translate to much ingame gold either since about more than 70% of that irl $ was when gold was 400-600k. so.... Did i regret it? In a way, kind of, because I never liked or played this game for the game until I was atleast lvl 80. I did enjoy getting some parts of my gears so that I could farm more & easier. The only cs'd part of my gears are my 99 HA ornaments & 1/3rd the total of my 1st cast Nv daggers when i had it & around another 75$ making it +10.

    soo.. $400-500 for 3 years of this game... I guess it was alright, All that $ were a small portion of the extras from my financial aid government $ so In actuality, I didn't pay out of my pocket to cs at all. lol

    now, if only i could legally sell my hard worked char that i've made to be worth quite a bit worth of irl $; I could more than happily quit.

    i need to cs but me who cares.

    CS have become the only way to get money nowdays unless ur not a assasin all u would do is leech from a farm party and become a aps parasite.

    I hate it but tha tis not the point and even if fleash ream was fixed to make barb keep agro
    if they do not make bosses more deadly to kill as in more damage reflect and stuff like that
    barb and cleric wont we needed as we once where and u can go all sin farm party or sin bm party and farm for money making eveyone else forced to CS unless we go APS.

    so qq more about cash shopping but do me a favor and kill the way ppl farm so every class is wanted again then talk to me.

    now i need legging and belt and u can say i am r9 tho without the r9 axe as its stupidly expensive and if i do get it it wont we today i prefer wait for the newer r10 then spend that much money on a singel pixel item (axe)
