    • City Siege Event?

    It's July 31 and about 7:15 pm and I haven't seen any announcements for it at all. Also waiting in Lost and haven't seen any event NPC aside from the Blood Theater one. Am I missing something cause I thought this would be everyday until until Aug 2?

      We're talking about PWE here. You'll be lucky if the event is an hour late. So just wait.
      On the first day of the event we had to wait over an hour for it to start. Ijs.

      How lame they started it at 8pm instead of the announced 7pm. They really need to pay attention to what they are doing.

      Yeah, there was a typo in the announcement where in one part they said it started at 8 PM, but in another part they stated that it started at 7 PM.

      What irritates me most, is that they apologize for the typo but don't fix it. You think everyone who participates in the event is going to hop on the forums first and read all the random posts about it and thus find your apology? If you know the typo exists, fix the stupid thing. On the first day I too waited an hour because I had read 7PM on the news page, and didn't find this apology until later. And upon checking the page again today, I see they still haven't changed it.

      this event i tried lastnight is really quite dumb unless u want genie food or something.
      This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

      Agreed.

      Frankieraye screwed up the PWI Championship post in a similar way, where there were two different dates for it in different parts of the news post. That one's still wrong too.

      In the "PWI - This Week: City Siege Event!" it says:
      This event will occur every day from July 27th until August 2nd at 8:00pm Server Time!

      But then below it it says...
      This event will start at 7pm Server Time , and there will be System Messages announcing its impending start ten minutes and five minutes beforehand. At 7pm, Sentinel NPCs will appear in each of the 5 alliance races' cities - City of the Lost, Etherblade, City of the Plume, Tellus City, and the City of Raging Tides. Talk to these Sentinels, and they will give you the quests you'll need for the event's rewards.

      See the text in white for the contradiction.

      Oh... and the old championship text was fixed, I was wrong about that one. I misread one of the dates for the championship in China as the date for the local championship.

      Lol funny how my thread ended up with mods discussing the typos. Well trying this event know and I am so confused about it. I guess I have 1 more day to figure it out.

      Hey, the problem was fixed...apparently frankie edited the header line of the news post and neglected to edit the times within the body of text. He fixed it earlier today, so it's all good now.
