Rep Cheaper With Gold Or coins

My Assassin currently has only 50k rep and my goal is to achieve 200k rep for my rank 8 and i was hoping to reach that during this sale.

i have around 20 million coins and i have 20 gold. Would i be able to reach 200k rep and what would be the cheapest method.

    Depends the cost of the rep. But i see your on sanc and rep merchants are holding their prices at 13K + due to high rasies in gold because i visited their earlier to see the economic situation, so it would be virtually easier to buy the rep badges in 50 packs with your current gold.

    yea the average is around 13-14k

    so how much rep would 20 gold get me in rep if you dont mind calculating

    One way to think about it is...

    Most merchants choose to merchant in hopes of turning a profit by buying from the cash shop and selling for more coin than they are worth.

    its between 25-27 for sure tho.

    But if you also spent 20mill on rep aswell, maybe you could hit 50-60k repuation.

    You get 100 badges for 90 silver. 100 badges = 2.5k rep. So 20 golds worth of rep = 55k rep and change. Maybe closer to 56k, but I'm too lazy to check for certain.

    right now with rep badges being 12-15k....cheaper to buy via gold :/

    200,000 - (current reputation)/25*.9/100 = gold *might be a little off on this, i'll edit it once I can get back onto my laptop*

    better sell your gold in AH for 1,5/1,6m and buy rep badges for ~14k each
    if you get 50m cash and rep badges are lets say 14,3k each = 3496 rep badges=87 412 rep points.
    still not enough for rank8

    It's always cheaper to buy with gold. What do you think cat shops do? Sit around and sell at cost??

    However, sometimes people might not have enough coin to buy items en bulk (5 oceans for 100 gold, 5 MoG for 100 gold) so it's cheaper to buy 1 or two from catshops than to buy a single item with gold without the bulk discount.
