Title says it all. I do remember reading on the PWI news a while ago that the earthguard wasn't quite finish. At least the story line.

I do remember also reading around the forums that during your levels 1-19 you barely figure out you had a 3rd eye and never knew its purpose.

So when is that dark army/chaos coming? That's why the E.guard where awaken to begin with.


P.S. I'm still waiting for my 3rd eye of Pan Gu to awaken so it can see all.

    I agree with this, I had already gotten to level 59 as a mystic (in pw-cn) so when PWI got it all that was new to me was that it was in English, and honestly the story was rather enjoyable, but it does sorta lack an ending, I suppose the "Chaos" that's coming could be the next expansion (When we get gm robes/weps in the cs) Buuuuut I think its more likely that "they" hoped nobody would actually read the story LOL.

    Hmmm maybe. It could also refer to the Wraiths which are supposedly still attacking lol.

    Please, drop any hopes you had for this game to actually do something right, everything that was supposed to come with the EG never came at all, guild bases still aren't even finished yet and I don't think they ever intend to, it's funny when you go to the very south of tusk town, just before you hit the EG area, then you see the texture difference on the floor, the devs should be ashamed and shot on the spot.

    Shoulndt earthguards get some compensation for the R9 looong wait?

    Yeah rank 9 is nice, but at what cost though? It's no fun being able to one shot everything. Eventaully leaves to deserting the game, a nd leaving you with your wallet empty.

    And to be honest, these guys don't deserve any of my cash at all. Sure good entertainment, but they haven't even replied to a problem Frankie sent to China!!!!!

    In terms of best story line. The Tieborn definitely have the best and long term story line. But that is just me of course.

    I know a lot of people who have not put in any $$ to get their EG r9. We've been waiting for so long now that we kinda just saved up for it in game b:chuckle

    I do wish they would expand a bit more on our classes though. Pwi really needs to give us a good update lol

    even if they release r9 on E.G, everyone has released so far that mystics fails, and seekers are not far from it, so......................

    next expansion is when the "chaos" will start and entire map will be destroyed and changed cataclysm style. then they 2ill introduce 2 new classes that have darkness powers and insanely powerful nukes that can change the landscape DBZ style.

    The EG story comes to a cataclysmic end as the EG realise that due to them being bereft of equivalent R9 power they are the runt of Perfect World's litter and throw themselves from Ancient Peak in lemming-esque fashion.

    2 weeks later PWI's "coming soon" promise finally materializes but too late to save the now extinct civilization.

    That was last maintance... The SP change has started "Chaos" on the PvE servers.

    Whoa someone who pays attention to the storylines!

    Honestly the EG storyline is my favourite one. And so many ongoing quests up to about 50s or 60s, I can't recall. I really liked that they gave so much more content for even outside races to get to explore. It was honestly a nice addition. I loved the new landscapes too that we got, very well made most of it. As old as PW's engine is, I still really think it's pretty lol.

    Anyway, I am not sure but I'd love more explanation on our third eye as well! As for the cataclysm, I just assumed it was in the form of event "attacks" like the Archosaur stuff. Lol I dunno.

    I still think an expansion they should consider would be an entirely new map the size of the present Perfect World. Doesn't necessarily mean there have to be new races in order to justify it. That's one thing I always wished PW had lol. A lot of MMOs have maps far larger than this one. I want to feel like I'm exploring new areas again rather than the same mish mash we've had for years now (minus the race expansions of course). I always wanted to see more land to the west expanded upon. Maybe even a desert people of some kind, or like I've seen others suggest, a new race that are wraiths themselves (perhaps eerily beautiful and possess conciousness). There's a lot they could do with this game that I wish they would. The potential is there (has always been there).

    As much as I love this game to be honest, I wish it had a stronger storyline. Even cinematics like I've seen other games do would be really neat in order to help you better connect with the characters you encounter. Like Goshiki and Dizzy. I really liked that story, it would've been even better with some animated cutscenes or something.
