Seekers and -chann
Okay, so I'm a sage seeker and working on my gear and really wondering if -chann is all that good for us. When I think of the -chann I could prospectively use at lvl 100, I see the rank 8 rep ring, the lunar glade cloak, and maybe the TT99 elemental ornaments. Saying I used all those, I'd get a whopping -18% channeling. The r9 is a bit out of my price range, but could eventually add in there. But for a freshly minted 100 seeker, I'm really looking at a max of -18% if I'm gonna avoid gimping myself somehow.
Has anyone tried the -chann route and found it to increase our damage output? Obviously, it won't reduce cast times, so its just the channeling aspect that gets reduced, and the number isn't huge. If there isn't much benefit, I'd be much better off just foregoing -chann and focus more on defense with items like WoCC or even the Nirvy cloak and maybe eventually the cube prot belt (a bit out of my reach at the moment).
Just curious if anyone has really gone the -chann route and found it to be effective or perhaps not effective.

I use to have -15% chan on my seeker. Personally, I did not see a radical change. I don't know about -18% chan but I think it won't make a big difference.lol
Now I am going for gear that involves increasing my mag def. Working out better atm. b:pleased0 -
Made this playing around with -24%...threw it together with just random skill casting.. One thing to note is diference in CDs with or without the -chan gears to get an effective perspective of how many skills are being pumped out.

I could still use my cube neck and wars belt and achieve -24% by putting stone of the savants in the sword, but maybe when r9 one comes out. But then I could achieve -30% with 99neck/belt... but 24% with better neck/belt none the less. I'm kind of a gear switchout junky, learned from clericing days to keep 2 sets on hand anyways.re0 -
Thanks for the video. Yeah, it looks like there is some speed improvement with the -chann, but I'm still on the fence as to whether its worth it. I like to eke out every bit of damage that I can, but adding some defense instead might be a bit more bang for the buck.0

get what you can without gimping your gear (it does help a bit). also take future r9 (on pwcalc) into account if your sights are set on that.0

Revised at 30% channeling... Still debating on stone of the savants in weapon, which would ofc be at 36%.... Still have some OHT junkies on the look out for -9% neck and belt b:chuckle
Lol and ignore my failz geanie kkkkkkkre0
