hey GM's TW is dying with charms at 6-8mil WTF is this ...charms used to be 1.5mil-2mil many ppl cannot TW because of this.TW is like the only thing left in this freeking game...dont let it Die.Not me tho,i can pay charms for sure... im speaking for others those people that arent that well geared and prefer buying gears than payin 7mil for a damn charm.. so please consider giving us a charm sale this coming week cuz this really sucks b:angryb:angryb:angry

    lol, i know i'm in this boat. Either gonna have to drop some real life cash for a charm or sell frost big rooms only. Cause I need a charm to do my solo frosts the way I do in a fast manner :x

    Current charm price (AT MINIMUM) on Lost city - 5.5 mil.
    What you normally find them for - 6.5+ mil.

    the games dead. period. the only reason i still play it is kuz theres nothing better to do with my time, other than work atm.

    if GM's dont make some changes to fix the "economy" in pwi, this game is going to end up like so many other dead games that no one even remembers...


    QUESTION: ne one know of a game similar to pwi before GM's ****ed up the game? i'd like to switch if i can find one thats like pwi before all hell broke loose.

    What he said. If Im really active I can burn 2 charms a week. If I go back to TW add at least one more, I always make sure I have 2 in inventory going in.

    Im not spending 12 to 24 dollars a week on something made to be burned thru. Ive even lowered my activity ingame so I dont have to spend 10 to 20 million coin each week just on charms.

    If I slow down anymore, might as well just not play.

    It's 6m coins per plat hp last I checked on HT. I'm not TWing tonite because I'm too tight and stubborn to splash out that much for something I can go through in 1.5h of TW ... b:cry

    This is the only game I've seen so far where prices of insignificant impacting things (like charms) aren't adjusted according to economy every year or so >.<

    Ok let's get this straight..

    I think people will see same link as me..

    High priced HP charm--- lack of barbs

    I ,myself, refuse A LOT of normal FC calls on my barb. Why ? Cause I mostly go with friends I know will know when/how to heal. I even screen out the bh69 calls I want to go help with.

    I am not filthy rich and if going to a bad FC costs me 1/6 th of a charm + crab meast and repairs, well sorry.. At 4-5 mils per charm we can round up a FC run with a "ok" healer at around 1 million total cost for a barb right now. So if someone doesnt invest much , like me, getting 3-4 calls a day for a FC and going, could end up using up to 2 charms a week (If u mix in that : bad bh69 runs with a cleric that doesn't know when to pury, or just DD's, help for various bosses/TT/fb's and such)

    Now, for a non cash shopper running a "tank type" char. 2 charms a week is just insane. Someone said paying 80$ a month on charms, I can believe that.

    Simple math though.. Of course it doesnt heal same amount and not instant, but for anything not TW related , I still prefer buying crab meats. 4.5 mils average for a charm is 450 tokens of luck or so.

    Makes a total of 1 200 crab meats healing a grand TOTAL of 3 million MORE HP then a charm..

    Yup game is broken... b:surrender

    Yes those charm prices suck really damn hard.

    It's damn hard get enough coins for charms without drop cash. I do, cos i simple do not want to farm all the time.. for the usual 2 charms a week i use.. 4 if pking.

    I understand people get frustated / quits if they'r unable or wont drop cash to this game, cos its inflated so much.. the days of grinding for 1 hour for a gold charm is over. was good time.. lol


    I like the suggestion som1 said by making an npc selling plat charms at a set price.. but hey, would mean less $ for them.. even tho it would help as whole damn lot to the inflation.


    at this rate they would have to make plats 1-2 gold.. on normal price.. for it to be anything near ok..

    Your talking to someone who spends half their life in the ****ing desert grinding. DQ points are nice, but they take 4 times the effort than buying a charm the normal way should.

    I saw it start to happen when I was still in Radiance on HT server. Barbs deciding no tot come to TW because charms (at that time) had reached 500K which meant that if they went to three TWs, TW pay was less than charm cost. In every other case I don;t actually mind the gold in AH being so expensive, but when the cost of charms starts to exceed the coin that can be earned during the life of the charm, it's going to continue to greatly affect the game population. This game is designed so that at higher levels, charms are absolutely necessary to be able to participate in the endgame content.

    In summary:

    Paying millions for a fashion item from a catshop = fair enough, cash players deserve to get coins for supporting the game.

    Paying 5-6M for a NECESSARY tool in order to participate in endgame content = potentially a game killer.

    Arch server isnt any better seen hp/mana (plat) around 5-7m each, i believe it's been like that for about a month now

    Exactly.. For some that don't/can't farm high level tt's/Nirvana and whatnot that pays good, 1 charm will be gone before you make 5-6 mils

    True, take a random class..Let's say BM. Unless u have very good hp shards and some kind of shielding/healing on genie, Sot will make ur charm tick, some bosses in abaddon will too. Heck even survival rooms in cube can. Probably some bosses in TT 3-3 can too. Delta ? If something goes wrong, it could tick as well. Nirvana, not sure, haven't been yet. And that doesn't even include those who either PvP, TW or just plain get attacked in cube and get charm **** for nothing
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    its ridiculous that there are people who buy charms when you could spend half of the money you use ONLY for charms to play a p2p game that offers much better pvp

    Dont forget that you guys control the market prices... whether youre reflecting the gold prices in AH, u all set the prices. The economy is already ruined and we all know that. DoTs used to be 1.5m, now they are 6m... gee how do you figure that... so you cant blame the GMs, its the players that have FULL control of the market and/or auction house gold.

    Whether its the sales or not, GMs dont have control of the amount of coins players set in the AH. Gold prices in the boutique has the face value of the dollar, not in-game coins.

    Sale is there, buying is controled by you. If ppl dont buy prices will drop. So if many ppl buy prices will stay same or raise up. The economy here is controled by greed of the players.     any half-brain merchant will tell you that pw control gold price by sales. You can almost predict gold pricers if you sit long enough in this business. "People greed' is just tool here.

    Not that I dont think that 5-6m for a charm is absurd, but the fact that you can go thru 2-3m worth of charm hp in a week is just plain rediculous...what are you doing outside of TW thats eating that much damn charm, i cant remember the last time I equipped a new charm, its been a few weeks, and its about half full still, and i solo fcc on that character regularly, tank bosses and bh's for friends/faction...

    Assuming I understood this correctly, what? I don't have any defensive skills on my genie and none of the bosses in SoT make charm tick. I might have one or two in 3-3 if the cleric sucks ***. And as far as Delta is concerned, if you, the BM, aren't getting ticks, then something is obviously wrong. You are either not doing crowd control properly, the barb is not sharing the agro, the auras are all ****ed up, or you just don't do enough damage in comparison to the other DDs in the squad. PK and TW are charm ****, I will agree to that much; but for a well skilled BM, PvE should be no issue at all.

    I don't think that everyone is asking that the GMs step in and control the market, I believe that they are asking for a little bit of help. Think of it as a bail out plan for an economy in a really tight spot.

    A cap on gold prices would help a bit, but I don't foresee that happening any time soon.

    I would love to be able to go to a NPC to purchase a charm. Not only would it be a hell of a lot cheaper, but it would be another coin sink to help keep coin in the market circulating. We all know that if the price is too high that no one will buy it unless they're stupid, which means that coin is just sitting there stagnant.

    But I will agree that 6mil for a charm is just outrageous, I don't have that kind of time during the week to farm for a charm.

    When is the last time you were puller on several Deltas a week? Face it Fc bosses are a vacation, they do next to no damage unless you **** up and the Shades are a laff. BH bosses arent much of a challenge even with a fail squad. Now TT 3-3, there's some real damage and Im in there alot because we have lots of faction needing those mats.

    Im not even doing TW now because the faction is building up to it, but with the Deltas, TTs, and tons of personal grinding I do it's easy to burn thru charm.

    Im a barb, I dont have the luxury of disappearing and avoiding all the beatings between me and the objective also.
