noticing it would make it more enjoyable and simple to have a Instance Squad finder in the new expansion, or even just as a update, then there will be no need to stress about trying to find or make a sqad, just like Instance Squad finder in forsaken world

Yeah the automatic instance squad finder is one of the best features a game can have IMHO. So much more convenient and has no disadvantages at all.

(In FW, you open up a window containing a list of available instances for your level/time of day, and then you apply for the instance you want. After a time you are matched with people and the game finds a tank/healer.

Aww that would take away the fun of spending hours on the platform to find a cleric for your BH.

But then Nirvana squads wouldn't be all APS!!!!1!!

It might work for BHs, might not. People are extremely picky these days. I once saw an advertisement needing "one more" for a BH and whispered them like 5 times (during which they world chatted again).... but apparently a veno isn't "one more." Some classes don't count these days.

It certainly would never help you find a Nirvana, RB or FF squad. People are definitely too picky there to use it. After all, they can't have you link your weapon to them if it is a random makeup. D:

I played FW briefly and I can say that the squad finder thingie was my favorite aspect of that game - the rest mostly felt like a PWI rip-off b:chuckle

I see so many features in other PWE games that would make really wonderful additions to PWI. I hope in the future they think to implement some of those features into PWI somehow, might make the whole experience of playing PWI a little more interesting.

It's to bad that we'll never see this. The current dev's don't know the original sourcecode for the game so implementing it would be extremely difficult.

I'd prefer that they tried to learn the existing code well enough to fix the bugs that have been plaguing us since release.

    Here is why.

    Devs are lost -
They have no idea how fix problems, much less code new things. At best they can maybe juggle a few existing scripts to produce sketchy 'events' like the Wraith city attacks. More effort goes into coding new Pack contents and pack 'luck' rates than anything else.

    Game is dying,
No need to quantify that fact. Any decent squad finder would quantify how many are available at any point in time. This provides a way for anyone to get a fairly factual basis of how many players are online, and thus the overall health or rate of decline of the game. Since PW seems to be in decline, I doubt they will do anything to provide real evidence of this.

    Concept is anti-Pay to Win.

For such a concept to work, it would need all players to participate, thus they could not charge for it, since charging would drastically reduce the number of participants. Such a system's value would be proportional to the number of participants it has.

    Even if It Was Coded
It would still be a fail. I have played MMOs with good squad/instance finders and the simple fact is that they are a fail if they show there are only 4 people online looking for a squad and they are all for some end game only instance. If you are mid level, and the game is dying with a low mid range population, then gimmicks cannot change that fact. If there are a total of 10 level 80s online, and 8 out of 9 of them are power leveling in FC, the remaining two are just plain stuck and out of luck.
    Just some guy
