I am thinking of playing this game, and I was wondering if there is end game content and if so how easy / difficult is it to participate in it? Is it dungoens, raids, pvp?

I could come up with a long, thought out post to answer this... But honestly I think that an old fashioned "troll" answer is really more accurate to the state of the game. So here it is:

    TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL ENDGAME

    b:surrender
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
    Chars:
    CptMaggots 101 sage R8/NV Seeker
    LovesTragedy 100 demon R8 Cleric

~Finally quit this god forsaken game~
Enjoy the rest of the downward spiral. See you in SWtOR b:bye

This game has had next to no content updates since release, the original devs were fired, the current devs can't edit the original codeing to actually do stuff to the original parts of the game, so old classes/zones have had to stay looking like outdated **** whilst the newer zones (tideborn and earthguard areas) look a lot better in terms of design/graphics, the same with the races.

So with that, there's very little to do in this game now, especially in terms of what things people can be bothered to do, if it isn't making them money or power levelling them, then they don't care most the time.

A lot of the end game content needs real money to be considered fun and fair unless you are really good at merchanting.

Everyone always rushes to end game. >> Take your time and enjoy the game, when you finally reach end game there might be more to do by then. [No promises. b:shutup ] PWI's best content is midgame, the part that everyone always skips. I have played for well over a year now and just now reaching lvl 99. Besides, if you take your time to get there then you will actually learn how to play your class.

Make no mistake, this game is mostly about money. The better you are with money, the eaiser this game is. Got an amex black? You'll have an easy time here. If you're broke irl, hope you know how to merchant. You're not likely going to make much coin in game till lvl 100ish.

As far as PVP, persistant PVP is available on PVP servers or optionally after you hit lvl 30. Raging tides is a PVE server and you won't find much world-wide PVP action there. There are other outlets for PVP thrills on a PVE server but those are mostly limited to once a week events. These include Dragon Temple (underwater PVP/PVE mixed event), PK Tournament, Territory Wars, and (not yet implimented?) Faction Base Wars.

Content in this game is relatively easy for a decently geared character. You catch a break on mp/hp foods at 75 which drastically makes the game easier and less costly. There are world bosses, extra maps, and and a few "not because of your daily" instances that you can choose to visit to fight for challenge or a chance at making money/gear. (Twilight Temple, Lunar, Nirvana, City of Abominations [weekly], Jungle Ruins [weekly])

Sorry, no raids. Party of 6 is the cap atm in instances. You can have as many squads as you want working together to take down stuff on the world map (world bosses) but only the top DD squad gets to pick up loot directly.

Endgame is going afk in south district of arch, leaving your char in it's best set of fashion and on your favourite mount.

    Truth! b:victory

Endgame stuff is fun, but once you get there... you'll get tired of it and it becomes "normal" and the fun is gone. Personally I still play this game because there's some awesome people that I love to hang with b:chuckle

Frankly, I don't really see the point in endgame on ANY game. XD Have we all forgotten "success is a journey, not a destination?"

Really, the only way to play a game like this is:
    1. Create main. Level it at a leisurely pace. Enjoy doing the quests and exploring the map.
    2. Get main to endgame, make a little money.
    3. Create alt. Level it leisurely. Enjoy reliving #1, in a sense. Support your alt with your main when you feel like it.
    4. Repeat Step #3 until bored.
    5. Quit.

PVP is broken and wallet-based (unless you are prepared to devote unhealthy amounts of time and patience to this game). The only real way to enjoy the game on a budget is to play PVE, and play it casually.

Yes, I'm still a stubborn holdout in favor of the old game. Haters gonna hate. ;]

    Other Active Characters:
LigerKing (Barb), Girasole (BM), Shamsheer (Sin), ArborSoul (Mystic).

    There isn't any endgame content.

There also isn't any early or mid-game content either.

So really, there's just no content.

Early game: Run the same quests over and over (kill 10 mobs, turn in, repeat)

Mid game: Do one of the 1000x ways to level up that are all really the same.

Endgame: Do the same TTs and Nirvanas over and over adn over, download LoL, never log in to PWI again.

Well I am going through the game casually and helping my alts with my main.
Its fun to learn new class skills.
I have not yet reached end game and am still learning new things, quests, etc.

So overall it is fun for me still.

Oh and socializing also is fun. Sometimes i dont realize i have wasted a couple of hours just socializing and not get the things I needed to get done b:laughb:victoryb:chuckleb:thanks 2 all my friends on here.

Early game is a pain because your toon has nothing, no skills, no gear. Mid game is ok, at least you have lots of quest to do. Your skills and gear are getting better.

Endgame sux. They can bring every server and players from all over the world together for a stupid tournament but they cant program a single new instance or quest for those over 100.

Endgame= get ready for the boredom. Same bh's over and over. Same TTs over and over. Hopefully youll belong to a TW faction so you can at least beat on other players once or twice a week.

End Game content = Same bhs over and over, Same Nirvana over and over, Same frost over and over, tws (before one cash shopped guild takes all the land)

End Game content = realizing that the game is dead and all about money

Imagine a game named 'Deadly Serious Mercenary Capitalist Simulation',

    b:sin

then imagine trying to play it casually.

    b:laugh

The deadly serious players are quite disdainful of casual players, referring to us as Carebears, or deadbeats, mooching off their investments in the world (cash or merchandising generated coin). The devs pretty much listen to them and cater to them.

The game is pretty much at a standstill dev wise. It seems to simply be in circle the wagons mode, of trying to eke out as much revenue as possible with the least amount of dev time involved. Anytime you see a game house putting more resources into 'social events' than real new content or fixing existing bugs, its a pretty strong sign things are stagnating.

This game has had next to no content updates since release

Except that we've gotten 3 or 4 expansions since release (including: 2 separate incarnations of Frost; Genies; 4 new classes; a decent size map expansion; Nirvana; a boatload of new quests/chains for a variety of levels; etc.), so it's not entirely fair to say "next to no content updates". Certainly not enough to cater to how many people are suddenly at end-game, however.

But once upon a time, 8x was like 10x... Not much to do. They fixed that in due time. Hopefully, they'll fix it for 100-105 before the paying playerbase gives up. :P
