    If the devs wanted them to be tamable, they would have been from the beginning.

    TBH you dont really need a water pet other than 1. You dont use it much, so there really isnt any point. And having rare water pets...those would be useless as u dont use them much.

    It would still be nice to have those as an option for venos for a water pet instead of just creepy laughing mermaids and undines or a fat plumpfish, or slow turtle. They added the armored fish after TB expansion. That's basically it for water pet options and there is no legendary pet for under water. Sure, you don't use it as extremely often as a land pet, but it is still nice to have options. Actually between levels 40 to 60 you constantly use the water pet for quests near misfortune and anglers village.

    i agree itd be nice to have a better selection of water pets. i had been using a Wicked Teeth(Arrowhead Fish? there between island of broken dreams and caves of menaces)

    I'd go for a jelly fish myself...

    The Vortex Turtles near Plume make rather fine underwater tanks though...
