Which Class Should I Choose?

Hi all,
This is my first post and I haven't played the game yet because I thought it would be best to know the beginner stuff about this game before playing.

I'm not sure about which class I want to play as. What came first to my mind was the blademaster, as I want to be able to take damage, but still be able to deal quite some damage too. Which class is best for beginners? Which class is easiest to level solo? Which class is best at grouping mobs and killing them quite fast? Which class has some AoE skills?
Also, which class looks coolest?

Any information would be really helpful.

    The one you like most. Try them all out then decide, don't play one based on what other people say.

    Also, I meant which class LOOKS coolest, as in their armour and stuff. But it great to know that skill that wizard did! Awesome!

    So far, based on the responses, I think I'm going for blademaster. My natural instincts are right so far!

    I would say a melee class. Ranged classes are very tricky to play when you start a game, so I've found.

    Venomancer, no questions asked.

    Which class is best at grouping mobs and killing them quite fast?

    As Storm said, this is a Blademaster.

    Which class has some AoE skills?

    Storm got it in one, again.

    Also, which class looks coolest?

    Personally, I think the Earthguard race (Seeker and Mystic classes) look the coolest. But that's just me.

    1. Dont break this rules & no matter what: DONT TRUST ANYONE!
    2. Dont pay wine or heads fee (like to get kicked after that?) b:chuckle
    3. Dont borrow items (since when return gms scammed stuff?) b:embarrass
    4. Dont use your password in faction-forums (like hacks?) b:fatb
    5. Dont give your mats to the tt-banker (obvious, not?) b:beg
    6. Dont wait for help, or heals, or any other miracles,... (for more examples just play pwi and you will hate the whole humanity) b:bye

    For a starter class I would suggest barbarian. You have really high hp and good defense, and low level mobs wont get anywhere near killing you for a while. This gives you chance to learn the game mechanics and see how it plays. Then you can make a decision on what you want to play.

    As for your questions they have all pretty much been answered. I would however suggest that Seeker is a better AoE class than Blademaster - 3 AoE normal AoE skills, and 3 AoE skills that require a spark or more (which you gain by use of skills and attacks). However as a Seeker i might be a bit biased b:chuckle

    No!
    Mystics have summons like veno`s....
    +their damage is far better than any venomanser...
    +they can heal almost as a cleric...

    They are broken beyond reason for pve and (most) pvp content. After your sin is end game and has farmed you lots of money, roll another class that looks like fun to you.
