You should make a big database of all items and their values for sale and things that is easy to access and find.

    It won't give you player created values for sale, of course, since that varies from player to player and server to server. But it does give you the coin value for pretty much EVERY item in the game when sold to an NCP. Along with coordinates on where to find mobs/farmable mats.

    You should make a big database of all items and their values for sale and things that is easy to access and find.

    items you buy from other players cannot be put in a database, as the price changes alot. There is no one set price for items bought from players, but there are set prices from npcs.

    Easy solution: average out the 10 most recent buy / sell prices for each item. Wanna know how to do that? add the price of the last 10 trades of that item then divide by 10. :) Math is an integral part of coding.
