What's with the lack of boss drops???

Depending on which FB you're soloing, your level has an impact on the drops. Having high levels in lower level instances will decrease the drops. No one's changing anything. If that's not the answer, then you just have bad luck. Which you do apparently, since you complain about low everything rates, from packs to drops, etc. Perhaps you suffer from a misconception about the actual rates of things. If you have good luck, realize that you can just as easily have awful luck, especially when it comes to PWI.

I've had fantastic drops this week. Even got that a gold mat (the most failtastic gold mat, but still) in a solo TT I ran for the luls, 4 fairy boxes and enough additional mats to cover the subs in a single run. We all have bad luck streaks, and we all have hot streaks. Just as their are people who go to vegas and lose all their money, there are others who win big. There are people who win the real lottery. There are people who lose their homes in freak accidents. Luck and happenstance are something that can shift for the better or worse at any time and sometimes we get streaks and have a string of fortunate or (un)fortunate circumstances. Que sera sera.

Thats the only thing that I also observed on when I used 200 bucks worth of dollars for these packs and honestly I didn't get nothing but charms here and there, and useless tokens, in that terms " What a waste " in my eyes all I see is a game that is losing its polish, but hey you people would think differently so I am not one to argue with that.

But over all it is understandable for the boss drops, but unacceptable for the pack drops, sorry but a true dev would know that....take World Of War---craft <--- the devs there would tell you the same thing.

If it were as easy as spend 200 dollars, get a scroll of tome, then SoTs wouldn't be 300 million range last time that I checked. (Which admittedly was a long time ago.) If you really want to make the best use of that 200 bucks, buy the packs of 50 still and then sell them to other people. It's a much closer guarantee. I mean nothing is guaranteed completely, but if I had that kind of money to sink into a game, that is certainly what I would do. Sorry to hear you guys had such bad luck though. Maybe next week you'll have better luck.

Was farming brim, got 2 molds and loads of drops, only last boss dropped only coins,

however TT drops just plain suck, we did yesterday 3-2, 3-3, 2-3 for chrono, drops were just

plain garbage.

As you can see, people are going back and forth with their bad luck/good luck stories. But no one is secretly nerfing your pack/drop rates. Most of the good things people want have such a low % chance of dropping/opening anyways, that is, less than 1-3%. You're surprised you don't get something when there's a 1% chance of happening upon it?

PWDB doesn't show the likelihood of coins vs drops, alas, but this is still a good example. Most of the time when you go and kill Brig, you get coins. That's on purpose. Look at his drops.

When he drops things, it's gonna be at least 3 items. There's a > 75% chance of a three-star item and down to a > 55% chance of a mold. Three-star gear wouldn't be so impressive if you could walk in, knock a boss over, and get a couple pieces. Likewise, molds wouldn't be made at the "Legendary" forges if you could spit at things and get the molds.

I'll leave it to an archer to elaborate upon how to interpret the drop rate percentages properly b:chuckle, but pretty much, you can think of it as "after 100 runs of him actually dropping junk instead of coins, this is how many of each item I should have in an ideal world where random numbers are evenly distributed".

So, yes. The point is that bosses drop lots of coins in normal instances, instead of "good things". If your complaint is that you're wining it, remember that ready access to wine is a very recent phenomenon. Not terribly long ago, if we were wining an instance, we farmed the mats and all pitched in toward the wine's manufacture. Damn you tokens. b:angry
