How cheap would a Herc have to be for you to buy it?

I guess this could apply to each legendary pet. I am not sure I will even continue to level my Veno anymore because she is just not that needed and my alt SIN is more fun.

I think if the price of legendary pets went down I would probably try out a Herc to see if it would stimulate new interest in my veno.

To me $75 still seems very expensive so I would like to see the cost go down further.

I could easily see myself spending $25 on a Herc.

Question, could a Herc maintain aggro from a SIN? How much of a head start on damage would the Herc have to have?

    A herc would have go to down in price enough to make it less costly than a normal pet with legendary pet skills and, to me, "worth it". There's little reason in making a statement with a pet anymore.

    When you start FF'ing with squads 80+ chances are quite high that you will run into sins who will deny your herc tanking due to sheer dps that the herc doesn't have. However, a herc is nice for the sake of DPS on [?] mobs, combined with a veno amp and myriad (or demon IW later if you go that route). Generally if you go with the herc route you should do it by far mostly due to soloing instances. If you go with squads few will ever ask you if you have a herc anymore, and few will even care. You're in squads mainly to debuff so the real damage dealers can do their thing.

    I might fork over $75 smackers to outfit my Veno with a Herc, IF it didn't involve all this open 14 zillion boxes and trade feathers for stay-puffs or whatever. I simply don't need all that run-a-round and rigmarole. It should be wham bam, thank you mam, pay the coin, get the egg, go back to playing.

    If you don't like opening packs then fork over the $ and trade it for coin, then outright buy the SOF/PF. This isn't a difficult thing.

    True, you still have to buy all the feathers and then trade it in. The whole thing is a bit much. It should be ticket, boom pet.

    Btw, is it lvl 1 when you get it? Now that is dumb if it is.

    a herc is level 1 when you get it, yes. expect to see many, many venos camping cube room 4 this week and maybe next.

    you do not make new forums on this website. only the forum admins (GMs) can do that.

    really only GM ahh man. Then how do people make new post and stuff. anyways the herc in pwi is way too expensive people spent atleast $200 if they would be using real money and stuff

    i already bought my pets but i bought them when there were sales, (actually i might have bought my nix not on sale, i dont remember, but i know for sure the herc was). it saves a lot of money when theyre on sale and if you dont have one and you CAN afford it, if you love your veno, and you REALLY want one, then i would say during a sale is the best time.

    Buy low, sell high so that you're gaining more than you're selling. All a Herc or Nix costs is some cat shop space for a while.

    Hercs/Nixes are worth it for venos. It's just that they're expensive. I was lucky I got mine for cheap before gold prices hiked up. b:cute

    IMO, the price is right for them during this sale.

    People talk and whine about prices going up but income potentials have gone up as well while expenses have gone down. If you aren't actively working towards a Herc: I'd reroll. At 102, I'd trade all 8 of my 100+ pets (including Nix, and many with legendary skills) for a Herc if I didn't have one.

    They are still the same price if you are buying zen (if you have the cash to throw at it, by all means), but outside of that, for a person who has some affection for a herc specifically and likes to solo, sure why not, however, it would be a far better investment either into another class that can make a lot more money in a faster span (assassin) or into gear (in my view the best gear investment is into a -int set that can be transferable to archer/sin, with -chan stuff to switch to when necessary -- most squads will want you for your debuffs, which anyone can do regadless of pet, and having gear to do damage helps significantly, and one of the many pets to outdmg a herc helps significantly) while using cheap legendary pet skills to ensure doing lots of damage. It was far easier to make 22m for a herc when I got mine. A veno without a legendary pet, especially as a main and their only character, is going to have quite a difficult time without cash attaining the 110-125 million (sale) or 220-235m (non-sale) to get it in the first place.

    Most forum goers disregard tweakz's (thumbs) advice because he bases his advice on his own current situation (has more than a billion from years of investments, plus uses an assassin to make money as well), combined with archaic views of veno's from two years ago, and not decent advice tailored to a player who is perhaps just starting out with a veno main.

    I got my herc from half using coins, and the rest using money. I kind of regret it, as i don't really use my herc to its full potential much, besides tanking some bosses. But I like the fact that it TANKS, I guess. Sometimes wish I had a nix though. Makes killing things outside much easier that are super annoying b:chuckle

    If you could make sense, you wouldn't be resorting to being a bunghole would you?

    I make as much with my veno. I use 4 toons to build coin. Assassins are far more expensive to make profitable than a veno. You're blabbering nonsense again as usual.

    I payed the full 180-200 bucks for each legendary pet a while back. $75 bucks is nothing to fork out compared to what they are not on sale.

    I spent $10 at most on my Herc, but probably not even that. I'm sure I ended up buying other things rather than spending it all on pet packs. I just did a lot of grinding/farming for in game coin to get my golden boy and I'm insanely glad I did. Everyone can babble on about how the legendaries are pointless and stupid to own now, but I don't think they are at all. I'm sure I'll drop another 120 mil or so pretty soon to get the Nix. It's great for people to spend money on the pet packs if they have it, but it's not like it's really difficult to get coin in game if you're poor irl.

    The irony of your trollish post makes me laugh. And i for one find Zeal a constant laugh in the fourms, his trolling often amuses me :).

    Anyway....
    I remeber at christmas, I'd grinded for about 10 months? saving up for my nix; the sale came up, i popped out about 35gold? which, at that time, was a fair bit of my invested in-game gold (I'm talking like, 30% of my gold, it really hit me hard for the next few months >.<) and BOOM my nix came to me, and me and my friends grinded the snowmen for hours, every day :).
    If you're too lazy to even open packs, i wish you luck later on in game.

    That 9999 thing are a joke, i buy today the "sale" packs and i spend 20 gold and i did not get nothing. My friend buy those perfect packs and after open 6 she get a herc..i get nothing. Better put the pet on shop with a gold price and that is it. Is to expensive and stressful to buy 9999 . To be honest, all packs are a joke. I am sorry I spend 20 gold just hoping for a hercule. Is not just pet is the people cuz no one help a veno without herc this days. An 100 mil one? Get real....There is no drop on this game,. no coins, no gold, nothing. How can u make 100 mil with 50k drop of coins a day? I know pepole say "Just get mats" but to get that expensive mats , u need expensive gear so u can kill. To farm herbs u need a fast mount so u dont take 10 in 1 h and people with fast mounts take 100 in same time and come on, who buy herbs this days when they are right there for free? So tell me how to make 100 mil to buy a herc without credit card? ..that is right, u cant. My point is , if u are a veno, take a bear or a walker and u will be fine...Get a decent gear and pet skills and you will be perfect. Still waiting for answer how to 100 mil in game....
