Really? 11 megs of patch, delayed by a day, to make at most a kilobyte of skill/quest text changes?

I seriously get the feeling that there was more tinkered with than that... b:shocked

Are the patch notes just the things that PWE is directly involved in, ignoring any other "adjustments" which may have been made?

(Also, when's the cleric buff getting fixed now that you fixed a barb skill? Or did Fuzzy make you do it? b:shocked)

    Not hard to see it's a pre-patch.

    However, I do agree this week's patch is lacking, to say the least...

    Yeah, there's nothing compelling in the notes to make it worth messing up my week, expecting to be able to play on a Weds night. b:sad

    But, in regards to today being pretty much "minor localization changes"... How the hell hard IS this game to localize anyhow? There's still "localization problems" from back in beta. They've been reported to death, and never fixed. Nevermind that sometimes an NPC's name given by the quest-giver often doesn't match the actual NPC's name, and sometimes the quest log has yet a third name. (And if we're lucky, each time the NPC is mentioned in the quest chain, the name is different again.)

    Seriously, PWE, there's some of us who are more than willing to come in to your office a day per week to talk to every single NPC and fix their text, nevermind the "easy" stuff like item and skill text. I'm sure you could even find a few who would be willing to do it on some sort of barter basis (where they don't directly impact your bottom line).

    The only thing they actually missed on their patch notes was that they updated the guild icons... apart from that, they're quite accurate.
