"Unable to Connect to server" error message.

Helllo!

I seem to be having a problem logging into the game. It's been running fine for the past week but, today while my boyfriend and I were playing it (both in the same house on our laptops, mine is a HP and his is a Mac that dual runs windows.) we both received the same message; "Disconnected from the server, please reconnect." or something to that effect. These messages popped up at almost the exact same time, give or take a few seconds. We both exited the game and attempted to reconnect. However, when we try to log in it continued to give us the message; "Unable to connect to server."

We have both tried using the force log button, and I checked the status of the servers to see if perhaps they were down for maintenance. As far as I know, this isn't the case. We also tried logging into different servers to double check this and received the same "Unable to connect." message as before.

Does anyone have any idea why we are unable to connect and how we can fix it?
