Need advice to pick PvP Server

I have been away for quite a while, but I'm considering playing a bit again. However, I am not sure which of these two PvP servers to pick.
I live on the East Coast. In the Server Screen, usually the pings for Lost City range from 90-105, and for Harshlands, from 60-70. In-game, my ping in LC average is between 250-350, with some spikes to 400-450 and sometimes the unusual 130-150. In Harshlands, average is usually 180-250, rarely goes to 400, but in crowded areas easily goes to 300-350, lowest I've got was a lucky 80 ms ping. I personally almost can't note the difference...hell, i just can't lol.
Harshlands is younger, Lost City was one of the first servers. When I searched in forums, this lead to the usual "LC is older hence it has more ppl more high lvls easier to get gear etc" Ofc I made a char on Harshlands and went to the pk hotspots like west arch or silver pool, on both servers. I've noted that the population in arch and the pk hotspots is almost the same, sometimes I go to LC and barely find ppl at silver pool, only to come back 30 mins later and find a bunch, same in HL.
I want to pick the server with the higher population(i know i know, no way to know, and I seem to find the same amount of people at both), entertaining so that there's drama, fights, QQ, Pvp/pk/rpk (and don't go with the "PvP is broken it sukz!! CS or gtfo!" thing, i know and idc) My internet connection is fairly good, I'm beginning to think the ping meter ingame is somewhat not accurate, or maybe i just can't feel the difference between 200 ping and 400.
So what would you recommend me? thxs in advance. b:victory

At least hes picking a PvP server instead of some carebear BS... I really don't understand why someone would play a PvE server. You are losing content for nothing. If you are getting ganked, go do something else for 10 mins. It's more like real life anyways. If there is a problem, go figure out a solution, you can't change the rules so the problem isn't there anymore.0 -

T^T i picked this server because it had the lowest ping for me when i started the game. didnt find out what pvp and pve were till god i was in my 60s ( back in 08 ;D)
some peeps are noobs cant do much about it0 -
You're on the east coast. Go with Harshlands simply due to (likely) more convenient event times for you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I Subtraction.

105/105/105 obtained! b:cute0 -
If you barely notice a difference, with what you pointed out, go with the east coast server, as Eoria said, due to it favouring your time zone, and the possibility that your lag could stabilize. If you're on the East coast and have a heads up on which server to join, always go with the one nearest you.0

The event times is true, however, Idk the event times, since I'd rather have the events at 10-11 PM than 6-9PM. Only late night I am free, so is there any thread that says the event times or can you guys point me the times events start on east and west coast servers? Like i said, times like 6 to 9 PM are not convenient, more like 10-12PM.0

Totally clueless now with the events as I don't know their time. East Coast server time is for example 3:40 PM and my time would be 12:40 AM, West Coast server time at 3:40 PM would be 12:40 PM. I prefer to have events at night, so what server would give me around that time events?0

Since you live on the east coast, all events on the east servers will be around 8pm for you and all events on the west servers will be around 11pm for you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Thxs for all the help. This is how I ended up: 1. better ping at HL 2. More convenient event times/TW at LC 3. Found more PvP activity at LC (after 2 days of checking it out with a char on both servers)
The only thing that bothers me is the in game ping meter. Is it really accurate? I think its totally bugged, I mean one second i'm killing mobs at 180 ms, the next thing you know, i'm up to 390 ms, then 250, then 430, then 350. I can't feel the spikes significantly, I mean it is after all 0.1 or 0.2 extra milliseconds and even then i'd get used to it. No real lags watsoever in neither of the servers.
Anyways, thxs everyone b:thanks0
