Im obsessed with the "art" of PW jumping...if i can jump and climb to a high place in PW id rather do that then fly...and im just curious...is there more people out there that feel the same way? do they consider jumping in PW as an "art" or hobby? because i believe its a rare talent that must be frequently practiced...
sorry i must sound like a freak...but if there are people like me, id appreciate hearing form them, i can be found in raging tide server jumping all over the place...b:pleased

    I used to be like that.
    but after a while you grow out of it. when everything has to happen yesterday.
    when you have so much to do and have no time to do it.
    unless you play all day everyday. then you will prob keep doing it lol

    sometimes, when the mood strikes. not usually.

    i've done the "lola's backpack" quest as a jumping quest, that's kindof fun actually.

    These. I remember jumping up the statues in archo in my lower 20s to find that chest, had no clue what it was for.

    Then a few levels later, had a quest to go there again. I loved it. XD

    Personally, not at all. Never been much into random exploring either XD;;

    Only time I end up jumping a lot is from roof to roof in Archo when I'm chatting/bored... XD.

    I like to use a running skill in any instance with my 'sin, then double-jump and do a frontflip. It looks like he's doing capoeira. Fun times.

    imagine if your sin started flying right after the flip and was flying like that guys siggi :P that would be boss

    That's quite a skill you have there. Behold the wonders of the space bar and the x key!

    Here is a quick tip on how to have fun jumping, show off your mad skills and annoy aiot of people:

    Find the most crowed place you can in Archosaur. Now hop around to your hearts content.

    One good spot is near any of the auctioneers. The crowds around these NPC are always so serious, you can lighten up their day!

    A second good place to jump is around the gem traders near the Crazy Stone NPC. You goal is to see if you can get these people trying to combine gems to look up and watch your antics.

    Now if you could WC while jumping you could be annoying in multimedia!

    lawl I used to jump the whole time in the same spot for like more than 5mins at Town of Arrivals xD
    others would join too sometimes :3

    XD lol I like to jump around more on my veno, than on my cleric. For some reason she seems to jump better =P It must be the faster movements.

    A bunch of the lower lvl people in my fac have "tag tournaments" which involve lots of jumping and basically having a blast XD So you're not weird. ;_; I can't play tag because I'm a slow cleric and everyone catches me, lol.

    Yep, I do it too. I don't really consider it an art, I just like to do it more than other people. Sometimes I'd try to jump my way out of somewhere than just simply walk out. It's one of the reasons why I like PWI, I HATE games that restrict you from going where you want to.b:infuriated

    You are either a troll or easily amused.

    I used to play a certain Sci-Fi MMO with the initials AO. It was often infected with public jumpers. Players who would pick a busy spot like a vendor, shop or other areas like west arch, and run around in circles jumping for 20 to 30 minutes. b:angry

    Perhaps it amuses them. I wonder if they also enjoy the fact they are contributing to lag in the area in addition to annoying any one there trying to get anything constructive done. b:sad


    There is really nothing to it. There is no such thing as a jumper that players want to watch for more than 2 seconds.

    BEEN THERE DONE THAT. DON'T NEED TO SEE MORE.

    If you like to jump, please go to an uninhabited area and jump/run/somersault to your hearts content, but PLEASE do not impose it on others.b:bye

    NOTE: On PVP servers, imposing jumping behavior in busy areas may get you added to KOS lists.

    When lag is low & a bit of free time, i like to see how ninja i can be tickling rooftops, balconys, posts, anything that is land onable.

    It is odd how others join in on it. While waiting on crazy stone i often mount up & hold down jump with something..when i come back there are up to 3 others doing it ^_^

    As for the backpack quest, i've tried to make that a jump quest before, but never had the time to fully figure it out.

    While mat farming i'll do handrolls, jumps, & flips to see if i can begin farming without an additional click by landing right on it.

    Favorite combo = handroll - jump - flip - double jump - flip - flip - land - handroll.
