refining question

Hi whats cheaper to use to refine out of curiosty. Dragon orbs or mirages. I want to know the cheapest way to get +3 or +5, using tons of mirages or using a orb.

I would liek to refine past +1 or +2 one day but never sure and figured i would wait till i get end game gear, but would like to get an idea. Plus if i do know, then i can dump all my vit into str. Thanks :3
