I can't stay logged in

I DC about 5 seconds after I log in for the past 3 days. I've verified my files, I've updated and I've even uninstalled and re-installed PWI. And i also ran a disk check. When I play my other chars I dont dc at all. Only my mains dc's like crazy, how do I fix it?

    That's odd that your main DC's and the others don't. Your character has absolutely nothing to do with your internet connection. Have you run a tracert?

    Maybe if I knew what that was I would try lol. And yea Now the alts are dcing too ugh!

    if I were to run a tracert to my server, I would open a command prompt and type "tracert pwigc2.perfectworld.com" and it would show me each hop that the route takes along the internet to get to PWI. This has been covered in-depth many times and I suppose I just assume too much when I assume that you guys have already looked in the forum for your answers when posting. Give me a minute and I'll find the thread where Tiag goes into heavy detail on why you DC and how to test it.

    Try changing the resolution that you are running the game in for that character, and also experiment with the graphic settings to see if that helps.

    Try adding the game folder and game files to the exception list in your firewall and antivirus software.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
