Axe BM any good any more

Hi all I'm a pretty recent pwi player and my main is a level 43 BM. I read a lot of threads about BMs and it seems that the new ones are mostly claw/fist oriented. I am wondering if the axe BM is any good any more? Could you give me a good endgame axe bm build and gears and a list of 5aps gears thanks.


NOTE: I want to do pvp but I need5aps for my gears(so far as I have read)

    axes is still the best wep for bms for tw and pve wise hf is still the top skill out there, pvp wise u cant stun lock without axes so yeah axes are still useful... that being said if u go pure axe u fail, hard. BMs are meant to use all the weps in their arsenal (even though swords suck). i recommend u working ur build so u can use fists/axe/pole. b:bye

    Axes are good weapons.

    Axe only BMs suck.

    Maybe this thread needs clarification on whether you are asking about axe only or should a bm use axes ever.

    You can go axe only bm when you are r9 4pieces+ and skillful with bm.

    Yes axes are great weapons for a bm, can't do well without them.

    No they're not great if it's the ONLY weapon you use unless you're full R9 and stuff like Calvin said.

    Er yeah, no axes, very limited on AOE's, no HF.. fail BM. Fists are good too, especially for APS, but min. requirement for a decent BM is fist/axes. It's also good to get the other trees later on for MSS/Demon GS.

    Axes are what make a BM a BM, without axes we would be like sins, except sins out damage us by far if u wana be a fail bm then yh, go fist only...

    if u wana go fists/claws u shud still cary some axes for HF becuase without HF ur a fail.

    Bms>Sins because of aoe, aoe=axes...imo anyway
    On CORE i cant add my BM to my alt list for some reason, god knows why. if u can help me please get back to meb:surrender
