OH SWEET NOW I CAN GET AVERAGE TO FLAWLESS SHARDS WITH GOLD!!!!





Oh wait. Flawless shards are common as hell. You can easily find flawless shards for 80k since they're handed out like candy these days.



So why are we putting this on sale? Is it so they can hope to draw attention away from the pack sale so people will complain about it less? Cause if so, mission failed.



Also, why do we keep up this charade with the pack sales? We all know that packs are going to be at a permanent 60% off. They're all pretty much the same except for the mount. Why not just put them all on sale permanently and save everyone the annoyance of seing ____ Pack Sale!!!! Everytime they open up the PWI website?

    Just the devs have no f.. idea what is happening in game, they think flawless and lower

    shards cost a lot more.

    People are already bored buying at 60%, I vote that the next pack sale should be at 80% off.b:pleased

    You are under the assumption that whoever picks the sale actually knows that G7 are common in game. They did a mat sale that costs about 10 times as much as it would to buy mats in game. I wouldn't be surprised if they did a herb sale next.

    What I find amusing is now packs are at the same price now that they used to be when they was one gold each.

    1 gold used to hover between 300-600k

    Now a pack from a catshop will cost you ~600k

    Sale is flawed.
    02/07/2011 - Lost paitence with PWI sold all my gear bought packs and wasted my coin till it was gone... goodbye PWI b:bye

    I joined not too long ago.

    I witnessed my first pack sale a few months after i joined. Since then, there has only been a time period of less than a month where there hasnt been a pack on sale.

    Packs have a set value. So by raising the amount of packs per gold that you can get, they raise the price of gold.

    if you get all flawless citrines/garnets, you will lose coin 0.o

    at least add immac/perfects in their to make it worth the gamble

    Since they were added, packs have been gone from the shop for a grand total of 2 weeks. With a month or two in between removals.
    How come, if someone asks a question in a forum, at least 13/20 posts answers the question in the same exact way, 5/20 word the exact same answer differently and 2/20 say something completely unrelated to both life and death?

    Bingo, packs will always be designed to hold the same value per pack vs cost per pack. The Deeper the sale doesn't actually mean deeper the sale if you are strictly free to play. This is also why you see pack items getting more and more expensive.

    Look at +10 orbs for example. When they fist came out for 75 gold they sold for about 35m-40m coins, now they are 25 gold and they....still sell for 35m-40m. The markets will always adjust the price of gold up to match what things use to be.

    The sales are just illusions for f2p people, the only people that do benefit are p2p.

    it is no "good" sale for merchants. but that does not mean some people wouldn't buy it for real cash, although it would not be the coin/money wise optimizing strategy.

    isn't that part of the purpose of the cash shop? no time, too lazy, enjoying to buy something, charge zen, click, item.

    you should be glad for a large portion of the f2p comunity because this sale does not affect them in any way.
