Nvidia latest drivers 260.99_desktop_winxp_32bit_international_whql - Win XP Pro

All other games like WoW, RoM, Allods work correctly.

PW - resolution 1920x1200 after enabling fullscreen mode and using Alt-Tab to minimize, and after that again use Alt-Tab to restore fullscreen - mouse cursor toggles to standard windows arrow, and each mouseclick does minimize.

The only way is to kill process, and than start game again.

BTW - you could add a possibility to invert mouse, make the camera follow character, and use mouse to move a character like it is already done in all other mmorpg games.

The game looks really interesting but is impossible to play for people with experience in mmorpgs...

Hello...... I have the same fullscreen issue.

I am running XP Pro SP2.
    I have the Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB.
The drivers tab indicates version 6.14.10.9371.

All modes run great with out lag.

A problem occurs when I minimize fullscreen (any resolution) to windows and go back into the game. Unminimizing the game leads to the windows mouse pointer instead of the game pointer. I get the game pointer in the top left corner only.

Any clicking with windows pointer minimizes the game back to windows. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL the process.

I have tried using windows task manager to "Bring To Front", "Switch To", and "Maximize"... without success.

I hope to fix this problem, the experience of playing works best for me in fullscreen.

Hmm...I'm pretty sure you can move with the mouse in this game...to be exact, you could play this game with just a mouse, as long as you didn't care about text chatting. Inverting the mouse would be an interesting new feature...you should make a post in the Suggestion Box about it. Lastly, about the camera following the character...doesn't it already do that? Or are you meaning "follow" differently?

That last part I don't agree with at all...I have played multiple MMORPGs, and the control scheme is not that much different from subscription-based ones. I came to this game, picked it up, and had the control scheme down to a science within 2 hours...that is far from impossible.

^i think he means a "behind the back" camera - which it generally does. although if you don't change the control setup for A/D keys to be "turn" you wouldn't get that sense while you were actively moving.

Hello again..... I was not aware that this game had a suggestion box. That's real fascinating. I will be sure to post my thoughts in there at some point after trying the game out for awhile.

On another note, keeping to the topic... I still have that problem, anyone have any ideas or suggestions/solutions? Thanks!!

Unfortunately you'll need to run the game in windowed mode and adjust the resolution according to your display. Not a pretty solution, but the only solution that allows for alt-tabbing. Many games don't support alt-tabbing and our games that use the angelica engine simply don't support this function.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Thanks.

For the OP, what is your screens native resolution? What resolution do you have Windows at?

I had this happen once when my PWI resolution setting was larger than my monitor's resolution. (Had moved PC to living room and was in 1920x1080 (1080p) and when I moved it mack to my normal monitor (1680x1050) I had this issue. Adjusting the client resolution to 1680x1050 resolved the issue.

Also, in your graphics settings, (Nvidia Settings), what is the option you have selected for the "Adjust Image Setting with Preview" tab?

Thank you for your post. I appreciate your forwardness. I have found that after unminimizing the game, the game window invisibly moves "out of range" to the top left part of my screen. The game is still able to be seen in front of me.... but the controls work only with the mouse in the top left.

It appears that only with the mouse in the top left I have control in the game window. It's a minor glitch that I believe could be repaired. When the window comes out of minimize back into fullscreen it moves, displaying the game, but windows is in front because the game itself is moved.

I believe I repeated myself there. I hope you guys can get this to the tech guys for the next update!

    Thanks!!

To solve the problem for now, I close all other applications that would auto-minimize the game (including skype). Apparently... as long as I never minimize, I will not have a problem :/

If there's anything I can do to help as far as generating a log somehow, or sending a screenshot or report, let me know please. I'd like to help, this truly is a great game!!

    ^ this.

for some reason, pwi's interface with directx wasnt designed for alt-tabbing, mind you ms themselves say you shouldnt alt-tab a fullscreen directx game cuz of how the drivers reserve video memory, windowed mode is the way to go.. if you run in a res close to your desktop res you can switch on-the-fly as needed. in my case, game in 1024x768, desktop in 1152x864, fills my desktop most of the way when in windowed mode but leaves edges for taskbar, dock, gadgets, etc, then if i need fullscreen i just flip the switch in the config UI.
