Hey, well Im new to gold trading, usually I buy my own gold but today I thought I'd give this ago, but one problem - IM CONFUSED x__x.
Ive looked this up, and I must be really stupid because Im still confused.
Basically its ONE THING. In the selling box, at the top, for example I saw a minute ago, a price (around 1400000 for example) and then 39 gold next to it.

Now this is where I'm confused. What is the actual price for these gold, say it said 1400000 for 39 gold. Is it 1.4mill for EACH gold (one gold?) Or to I divide it by 39 to get the amount the person is selling these gold for each? Or have I got it totally wrong, because I've tried both these ways (Lol, it's my first time, okay QQ) and I managed to buy no gold.

A little help would be lovely, sorry for (probably) sounding very nooby.

    yes. that box is saying there are 39 golds available for sale at 1.4 million coins each.

    Alright. So, if I wanted to buy for example 10 gold, i'd be paying a total of around 10mill give or take a few hundred thousand? This will give me a lot of clarification lol.

    closer to fourteen mil at these prices. plus the two percent auction house tax built into every gold transaction (on both ends, no less); so 1.4 million * 10 * 1.02 ~= 14.28 million coin for those ten gold.

    I got it! I figured it out, and SOLD some instead of buying, and made about 14 mill ish. Thank you very much.
    Is it me or does it seem to work out cheaper to sell your gold, then buy fashion/mounts etc In game? Just a thought.

    it's not just you, that's often the case. the secondary market for such durable goods (mounts, flyers, fashion) is very often cheaper than buying direct from the cash shop.
