I miss the old days on pwi Dont you?

Who rembers the old days when this game had no hypers,no bh's,no aps, and fcc was much better than Any one?
Gold was cheap then to as it was charms there was less to fight over .Now thease kids want more coin and got more gready and it aint getting any better.Also it's not just the coin it's how many aps you have or you must have a herc or something else.
But most of us rember the old ways and we have more exp on are toon's we worked very hard on what we have. We had no hypers bh's nothing but zenning,grinding,fb's,cs, .But it seems now hypering is the key.I noticed when you get a new class come in to the game and this class has to beat all other class's meaning have to be better and have to reach 105 first as if it is a race.
I seen this a lot who made sins think there god think there better then any other class run there mouths even wisper and call others names.
My Lady friend was on her bm was doing quest thease 2 sins wouldn't leave her alone got in to her face and made her upset then she go on world chat and speaks her peace they attacked her again so i steped in to them to bugger off leave her alone they got mad at me i took screen shot sent in a ticket because there is no need for this behavior.
Iam not saying all people who have psy assassin's but a lot of them do think there god think there better this is not a game to fight over stupid **** ever class is differnt suppose to work together and granted there is no balance in this game most will agree .
This is why i wish this game stayed the way it was i would think there be less issues but off course it aint going to happen infact the way it's going i rather stick on my xbox live and dont have to deal with the drama on a day to day basis.
Iam not attacking the assassins psy's the only ones but i seen some other class's run other's down. but the point is this the more people abuse a game sooner or later the ones who develop the game will set sticker rules and start banding people i cant blame them,Sony,Microsoft to major companys started banding accounts a couple years ago for people abusing it.
The reason why i miss the old pwi you had to work for your level every level you past you pat your self on the back say good going and say i worked for it.But the ones who powerd leving dont care . Most dont know how to work there toon but yet the blame others for there mistakes i seen that to in fcc and in delta i dont do delta no more got tire of the ****.Fcc only do it with people i know or trust no random squads.
Reminds me of when i first took my cleric in to fcc with my sister to to finish some quest been stuck there i know the run well on my barb used to it first time i go on cleric i have this other cleric yelling and acting nasty treating me as a noob i came out and said this iam not a NOOB pointed it out didn't care who was affended and stated my first time on my bird in fcc so back off.Well my sister understood invited this cleric back no back talk after that .
But i bet my last breath if they took,fcc,hypers,bh's,nirvana away it would be a major shock infact i dont think any 1 would know what to do it would be how this game was befor.

Have not been around long enough before hypers were introduced, however I only have used hypers 2wice since I have been playing.
I probably gained about 300k total in EXP using them. I like to play every aspect of the game as it was designed.
BUT I dont QQ about hypres or ppl pwr lvling either. I just try to make it a thing to not invite them unless they actually know what they are doing.0 -

I do remember and miss it. But there's nothing that anyone can do about it now. The Devs don't care about the playerbase so things aren't going to be change.0

Its true that most of the changes that make people "miss the old days" come from the devs... but at least on the gold price part, although it started because of what the devs did, it was the player base and its greed what made it go as high as it is now. Guys srsly there are a lot of threads about old days.. cmon it was really good i admit but like it was said b4 get over it, some updates are good some are bad.
Yes every1 now can get to lvl 100 in 2 weeks but like you said this is not a race play as fast as you like. If you prefer doing it like old days why not?
You will not be the number 1 of the server but at least you enjoy playing0 -

Lol Sanctuary is PvE, how were they bothering her? Unless they were harassing her in some way against TOS (offensive language, etc) which they can't because they copypasted urbandictionary into their censor lol I dont see how they bothered her.
Roll a PvP server and you will see what griefing is really like. I've known sins to unstealth and bleed people then restealth and just keep doing that until their target was out of pots/mana then finish them off. I've known people to camp at bosses (even worldbosses) and pk once they boss was down to 100k. And that mentality was always there, i saw someone dug up an old RQ post from LC server back in the day talking about how to ** over zhen squads and stuff. IE: they would use EA to kill the BB cleric as soon as all the mobs were back and squad would lose like 5-10 mins as they regrouped and waited for cleric to get back. AND, you couldn't pause training scrolls like u can hypers.

I simply miss the days since expansions began. The poorly made new races and the Fox pets from cash shop really messed up the game. Before all of that, we simply played the game as it was originally intended. It was quite nice back then._______________

Notice that most of those are newer games or were changed from premium to f2p. For a 3+ year old game (even older for those who played on asian servers), id say just being noticed is great!0

Speaking as a woman player I know exactly where he's coming from. I have been bothered quite a bit too. They follow me around, stand on top of me, get in my way, etc. Male and female toons alike. (Of course we all know it's little boys behind those girls' behinds.) Happened just yesterday to me as my new psy.
As for the good old days, I agree. There are some things I love about PW and some things I hate about it. Go make a new archer or a new bm and see if you can find more than two other new players in the whole area. They've all gone to FC to power level or went to go make sins. What is the big rush to get to the top to just stand around saying "I'm bored" in WC?
There are much better games. I have subscriptions to two of them. But you can't beat 2 things in PW... Character creation is still the absolute best of any online game I have played (and I have played an insane amount of games) and you can't get carried and kissed from level one in any other game either. b:chuckle I keep coming back for kisses. b:chuckle0 -

If you remember those days you would have to be playing for quite sometime, yet none of your toons are above 80... did you stop playing for a long while or just not often as much?

Sure, I miss some things. But others I do not. FC and hypers didn't come into the picture until I had already grinded/WQ/CS/FQ/fb'd my way to almost 90. Now I have 5 chars over 90, thanks to alt-FC/buying heads.
The only thing I truly do miss is the peoples knowledge of the game. Some people almost 100 who have no idea what OHT is (or that theres 4 total Chrono maps), or don't know what a Rebirth instance is, don't know what a zhen is (why the hell aren't ppl zhenning map3 on 2x for example o.o), don't bother will all the little side-projects you can do (card bosses, Demonal Documents, the Chihwen quest in the Tues Temple event, and so on). The general knowledge base of people higher level is way down from how I remember it being. Even simple things like the skills for 79+. Used to be you levelled slow enough that you would come across and gather all this information well before you needed it. Now I see people who are 92 and no idea where to get 79/89/92 skills. The extent of some peoples knowledge is bh and FC, get to 100 and don't know what to do/complain about being bored because they've never explored everything and see what all you can actually do in the game. Of course, this does not fit everyone who hypered their way to 100. Some are quite knowledgable about the workings of the game, but the influx of people who are completely clueless about it is definately up.
The ease at which things are available now is mixed....this is an Asian game after all, and it was originally expected to be able to grind and farm for hours on end. We simply don't have that lifestyle here. People who can only play casually can still have access to all the gear and content without sacrificing their real life. Down side of this being it also puts elite end-game gear in the hands of idiots who don't know a thing about squad dynamics or how to play their class. I'm not lumping all people who buy gear as that, but you get bad and good together.
On the whole, the game has changed, and either you change with it, or you live in the past, dwell on it and complain. Honestly, there's private servers that are all pre-Rising Tide should anyone feel the need that strongly to go back to that.
PWi is what it is. A free-to-play MMO with an emphasis on cash-shopping (it is a business). If you don't like what its become, then you graciously move on to something else and keep the memory of what you did enjoy here.0 -

I agree to this topic but I'm not sure if it is a change or the difference between servers. When I played on Sanctuary long time ago and I searched a bh squad (29-69 was my time on Sanctuary) there was always around 3 squads creating at Head Hunter. Secret passage was full with people who wanted to do that and there were plenty of higher lvls helping. Today? I helped somebody with with bh51 and they told me that they couldn't get enough people for over 30 minutes.
Now Idk if it is the server difference or the (I call it) damage that was done to the game with hypering in FC = most veterans don't do bhs/quests on alts.

I want the old days back. When having rank 5+ was rare, when level 89+ meant something, when you had to earn your equipment by running instances, when people actually knew how to play.
No BHs
No hypers
Old frost
No genies
No unbalanced tideborn or earthguard
No highly unbalanced equipmentMain characters

Yes the old day's were great, where everyone knew how to play the class they chose. But game's do advance and make it easier to level. Even a very popular MoM(flip mom upside down
