    It doesn't really matter, honestly. I'd just avoid names from really popular stuff though.

    For reference, my cleric is named after a character from a rather niche video game. .___.

    I prefer original names. I have maybe 1 or 2 names that would be considered "un-original": a fist BM named Mike_Tyson, and maybe another... I can't remember right now...b:chuckle

    I prefer coming up with my own names. Using names from shows intentionally or original names,in my opinion are just un creative and boring. I mean I see so many people with the name Narutoooooo,Narut0,N_aruto you get the point? I mean if your a fan your a fan, but I think it just tacky xD.

    Most of my characters have original names.

    I kinda like Gummy though, it's been a conversation starter on more than one occasion. b:cute

    ty for the feedback so far. So it seems Original is the trendy choice as of now. Either that or a character that is not well known. I have thought of some original names (although they are of course from the dictionary - and fyi, not adjectives or verbs but specific nouns)

    So should my names be dictionary words, or ones that cannot be found from there? Your opinion?

    Also here are so of the more "obscure" characters I can think of, please do not google b4 answering, do you know these?

    The main reason to have original names is that so you can mold and shape the character yourself. Instead of, you know... being a wannabe.

    You can either try to have all names with a common chord so your friends can find you ( like PsychoChicken, PsychoCaster, PsychoChiller, PsychoCleric, PsychoClobberer for teh same PC), or a theme, like Runs-With-Scissors, Dies-A-Lot, Clobbers-Mobs, Teases-Dogs, Stop-Hitting-Me[for tank?] etc.

    Sadly my account with my original ign (Spholof) got banned.....
    Original is better specially when its a name.....not adjectives, random nouns, verbs, etc.

    My name was more a spur of the moment idea. Miya was the base.... and I wanted it longer, so i just added "la" to the end. The x was just a trademark. So its xMiyala, and honestly I have no clue what it means or if it means anything o.o
