Restatting dex into str. Opinions.

I haz a 101 archer that is no longer my main but my farming hoe. The archer isn't squishy, and I do fine on clericless squads, unlike the new generations of 5aps 5k hp archers around. So.. I wanna do more damage and contribute more to squad speed.

I'm too lazy to make a fish and too cheap to invest on my 99 BM that is 3.33 aps. So, in order to give my char a better use, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to just restat the unused dexterity into STR.

I'm not plannin to make it HA, but just to add a considerable amount of STR so he doesn't do **** damage but slightly more. This is the current build:

Anyway, it seems like a viable option, much cheaper and faster than making another char and, like I said, it's only for Nirvana. I don't like fishes, and I'm too cheap to invest on a BM cause it would just take too long. CSing is not an option either.

I'd like to hear some opinions >.<

    wel the archer wouldn't have any other use but Nirvana and the eventual TT.

    Go full str if you are only using for farming with fists :P

    Or min dex for bow rest str.

    yeah I was thinking of this, since I have a pretty Regensis Nirvana bow +10 there that I l ike to wield every once in a while just for kicks.

    Wrong.
    Even though the strenght is good. I had rather lv the bm to 100 get him some aps.. even if its only 4.0.

    BM, mystic and archer are on same account hehe, so ... ugh.

    the BM at 4aps does as much dmg as archer 5aps, but that owuld mean investing at least 70m on it.

    I just noticed that by restatting 200 dex into str I'd bump the damage by a LOT.

    A 5 aps HA demon archer would be more economical and efficient for farming for you. The interval gear are easy to obtain, and the HA gives it viability to tank. I'm an HA myself, rarely do I find people to out DD me with the same wep refine and aps. Not even most sins. However, because paint blood don't work on archers, most often times you will need a cleric for difficult bosses if you don't want to spam hp foods and defense charms. I am not a sage 5 aps, so I don't know how sage 5 aps HA will do. If Val see this thread, she might comment on it :D

    Yes, I agree with that, but the OP was deciding between his/her bm and archer.

I'm actually considering making my sin into this build to share my existing equipment, just so I can have pb and be able to stealth to the boss/what ever target quickly. A healer with paintblood, a dd with high str for fists and being 5 aps, and a more suitable tank with sage's 25% damage reduction and HA for more defense.

    Demon Would actually be better, 5.0 aps with demon chill would by far out dmg sage, I guess if your squishy sage would be okay for 25% reduction though...
