    Judging from the lack of response, I guess an exact date is too much to ask for. Can we just have a stickied progress update on the new servers then? It is rather boring on HL and I've rerolled at least 5 times. A new server would be very refreshing. Thanks!

    i am wondering is this new server going to be limited to europe? Can NA and Asia play there as well? Sometimes I travel to Asia, and I know in Taiwan, you are not allowed to access these NA servers...

    Edit: I think PWI will not likely release the dates until something like a week before servers are out. Fortunately, seeing that the french forums is already full of threads etc, i think pwi will be wanting to bring up the servers asap. I have not played the game for almost half a year, but these R9 seems nice hehe, might get the weap for myself

    If my guess is right we are 1 week from release of the servers, we will know prob something this week.

    Anyone that can already play on PWI will be able to use the Euro servers, just like anyone can use the US servers.

    wow thats pretty soon :DD. I hope it wont lag too much for west cost. It seems i can never stick to a sever very long, tend to quit after achieveing level 90+ :SS

    So we can prob use any language we want then? wonder if a lot of ppl will speak english....else i might have to use my broken frenchb:cry

    The main language will be english, there are many languages in europe but only 1 in common as 2nd language that is english so you will be just fine

    I'm not worried about languages. On other game I used to be in german guild without knowing german but i learned little on the way. I also was in french guild but never learned that language :D And I'm Finnish myself with quite broken english and awful swedish. But that never have been problem in games. Most people speak english if there is someone who doesn't understand their own language in squads and in factions. It seems to be same on current servers too.

    And I quess PWI plan was to create separate servers for french,german and english speakers. Even I heard that quite many german and french speaking are going for english server because predicted bigger player base. But those who can't speak english most likely stays on their own servers.

    Jep, im german and i will go for the "EU" Server where english will be most common because all the non localized countrys will choose this one aswell. I really hope they will add at least on pvp Server because every localisation will get just one server. The Servers are located in Amsterdam. If they fail to release at least one pvp server i will ignore the eu servers because i dont have any reason to move over but the better pings.

    i dont have much time, so kinda have to cashshop a bit to catch up, but would prefer pvp server, or else not worth the money....

    Dont get me wrong, i like PVE as well since there is always TW and Cube, etcetc, but i cannot stand pvpers in PVE sometimes. They boast this and that, but then why are they in PVE server? I can only understand if they are new players (since recent 3 servers are all pve and
    have no choice.

    Question for pvp server ppl out there:
    - Do ppl continuously pk ppl that do not really want it (might be cause questing or way too low level)
    I know that in PW-MY it seems they are not as aggressive which is good (unfortunately it is the ppl that are from PWI that keeps RPKing lol)
    - Is there more drama or less because of the PK?

    Good thing is that with rank gear you cannot lose items haha, so i guess PVP server is better

    i am not sure if full rank 9 for sin is worth it, or is it? Prob should post this on sin class forums, but what is the ideal set for sins, if you want to pvp and pve (so need interval, can farm and own pvp)

    It depends, aps for SURE but if you want r9 daggers you still have 4 aps which is very good and u will end up owning pve and pvp 1 vs 1

    Question: how many -int do i need for 4aps/5aps etcetc?

    If i remember correctly it is:

    - 0,5 int = 4 aps
    - 0,55int = 5aps

    So did they officially state that they would open a pvp server in the European servers because I will undoubtably move to another pvp server, wherever it may be.

    I hope that the new server will have Europe time so i can finally TW because with those US servers i cannot do any events because they are too early in the morning b:cry

    What will happen is, the euro server will attract euro's playing on current servers making the low population here even lower, just so they can move on to an even lesser populated server called euro server.

    The european players who wanted to play pwi, already started to do so on the current servers, and i don't see how new european players can be attracted to a run down game like pwi that's been ruined to the bone.

    PWI needs to get their profit mostly from players who play in a competitive way. As in they want to get better, and of course cash shopping to get better gear is one of those methods. The lower the population, the less interesting TW and PvP is going to be, and the less people cash shop.

    So instead of trying to spread out the already declining population over more servers, why not make the current servers more interesting for european players?

    Or even merge a server.... seriously

    Higher playerbase => more competition => more fun => More motivation => more cashshoppers => more profit.

    Look at this way:

    European players (not all but many of them) and a few US too will go to these new servers => more cashshop activity => a few will go back to the previous server so cash wasted for nothing

    or

    stay at this one and do heavy cashshop to be the new QQ master and rule pvp which otherwise they would not have spent that much cuz in the previous server they were not there from the start so it would have been more dificult to be recognised

    Not to mention that in a long term population will get decent and all of them so win win situation for PWI

    no doubt this is going to suck for ppl in old servers since some ppl will definitely leave. However from PWE perspective it is not a bad deal. I mean how else will they make money if they dont add new servers? New players do not like to start on ancient servers since they are newbie, and newbies want to start fresh with other newbies. These starter towns are quite empty in the old servers, and of the lowbie players you see are probably alts anyway.

    So this is the right direction for pwi to take, but some of the old servers are not populated enough, so maybe they will consider a merge? (catshops in arch and events are not good indicators of server population)

    What I am saying is that making new servers once in awhile (arch server is quite old despite its pitiful population) is a step in the right direction, but they do have to fix old servers and make sure they stay well populated. Perhaps take out some of the IMBA cash items sometimes

    Edit: There will ALWAYS be ppl switching servers. Me for example stopped playing the game for a long time, might want to play here (mind you i have reached level 90+ in 3 servers and cash shopped enough, but end game content is so boring, and i was busy). And if i am going to spend money in game, why spend it on old servers plus doing a year worth of catching up?

    They might also be trying to tempt the competitive Euro players to play on both .. Those of us who TW on the current servers may make a new toon on the Euro ones and TW on both...
    It be nice to TW at a more friendly time for us Euro's AND continue to TW normally here.
